I absolutely love this organizer! It was a genuine game changer for air travel, and not only do I take it on every flight, but I get asked about it almost every time. Big fan! Even if the cleanliness of the tray isn't a concern, this is so handy for keeping all of your in-flight essentials handy and organized without digging into your bag and you don't have to use that nasty, shallow seat back pocket where you could potentially forget something at all. It actually holds a surprising amount, and it hangs close to the seat, so it doesn't block the walkway when people need to get by. I typically preload mine with most of the things I need for the flight and fold the part that goes over the tray over it to hold it in place while it's in my bag so when I'm seated all I have to do is slide it onto the tray and it's ready to go with everything I need. Then when I get home, I toss it in the wash and it's ready to go for next time. Highly recommend.

This is a great solution for keeping your things handy while on long flights. Nice to have a clean surface when using the tray. I wear glasses for reading or anything up close for that matter, so I need to keep them nearby. The airplane pockets lets me keep glasses, phone, lip balm, sanitizing wipes, water bottle, etc. No contorting to reach my bag under the seat. It will fit a small book or kindle as well. I have a pretty big list of cons, but the pros far outweigh the cons. I still gave it 5 stars because it successfully does what it is intended to do and it does it pretty well. I don't know how the design could change to not have the cons but still keep the pros. Pros: Convenient storage on a long flight Stretchy and easy to "install" Covers the whole tray so that you have a clean surface for eating or using the tray for other things Fits enough things you would need Packs small and pretty lightweight when not using it Washable Cons (minor ones): Heavy things make the pockets sag and be misshapen due to the stretchy fabric. (Like a water bottle) It makes it a little harder to fasten the tray table in the stowed position because the fabric is covering the tray. Be gentle while doing this so as to not push on the seat of the person in front of you. Traveling is hard enough without someone manhandling the seat you are sitting in. Flight attendants for some reason didn't think I needed a napkin with my drink and snacks because of it and didn't give me one. I still wanted the napkin.... You have to be mindful of where the indentation on the tray for drinks is because you won't be able to easily see it with the fabric over the tray If you are writing on paper on the tray, you may need to put something hard under the paper because of the fabric.

Not sure what to say because words escape me! The Airplane Pockets item was recommended by a YouTube video from Life Well Cruised. When I originally bought mine on Amazon in July 2025, the price was $19.99. Now, the price is $10 more at $29.99. However, I was able to buy 4 more on sale for $19.99 during the October Prime Days. I've probably used mine about a dozen times/flights. The appearance of the item is of a well organized, stretchy, thick black fabric. It is easy to pack. You can use the different sized pockets for all your travel needs. I use the large pocket for my iPad, the smaller front pockets for glasses, earbuds and cell phone. I've laundered it in the washer and hung it to dry. It seems pretty durable. I am sure others will find it versatile and easy to use. I did notice that a few stitches (~5) have come out but I can easily fix it by hand or a sewing machine. I highly recommend the Airplane Pockets for air or train travel when there is a fold down tray. I actually disinfect my tray with wipes before putting on the Airplane Pockets. Wish it came in a few colors!

Very handy, excellent storage capability, machine washable, I love it... BUT..... On one flight (mind you, it was only 1), we had a flight attendant yell at us for using it. She made me take it off the tray because the trays "aren't made to hold extra weight like that." I think she needs to go back to physics, but you're not allowed to argue with flight attendant, so I just took it off and then spent the following 3 weeks having anxiety over this interaction. For me, it's not worth it even if this type of interaction only happens once in a while. This incident happened probably 2 years ago and I still have a little bit of anxiety every time I think about it. It is definitely not overall airplane approved.

Can't believe I've flown my entire life without this. It is such a nice tool to have on any length of flight. I hate using the seatback basket pocket that barely holds anything, is probably really dirty, and gets filled up quick. With the Airplane Pocket, I was able to fit my owala water bottle, phone, snacks, headphones, book and charging cables. And it was so quick to put on over the tray table. Everyone kept complimenting me on how cool it looks. I do like that the logo is on there for anyone curious enough to look it up. It's portable and rolled up to fit in my backpack without taking up much space. One flight attendant had me take it off for takeoff/landing but other flights I took they were fine with it being up the entire time. YMMV. Came out perfect after washing in my washing machine and I laid it flat to dry. I can see this lasting years. I got one for my sister too.

I'm so glad I bought this. It works as well as you could possibly hope. It easily and snuggly slides onto the tray table. The tray table still easily closes. When the the table down, you have a clean, covered tray. When put the table is up (in it's upright a locked postion) your items (that are snuggly nestled in the pockets) hang straight down In front of the "yucky" airplane pockets... so you always have clean pockets to store your stuff. The material is stretchy and the pockets easily accommodate your cell phone, tablet, reader, snacks and water bottle. This airplane pocket virtually ensures you will never errantly leave a valued item behind... and will help to minimize picking up any germs or viruses unintentionally left behind. The pocket washes up beautifully in the washing machine. I will never fly again without it.

I loved using this! I made some recent changes to the way that I travel to make it more convenient and efficient. This pocket was a game changer! It folds up so small, so it is easy to carry along. I was able to have everything in it that I want access to while in the air without having to constantly reach into the bag under the seat in front of me. I love how it covers the tray table so that I’m not on a surface that may not have been cleaned well. The bag held my large ipad and Magic Keyboard, my phone, cords for charging, snacks, sanitizing wipes. and it stays out of the way of movement when people need to get by you in your row. It feels strong and that it will hold up to use over time. It made my air time much more convenient!!

Great idea, if you travel in coach or economy, but I’ll reserve my opinion until I see how it works in business/first class, because there is no tray directly in front of you. I expected something a little sturdier than just cloth material.

The tray table cover is convenient and a great idea ONLY if the plane has full-sized tray tables. Unfortunately, many newer aircraft have tray tables that fold in half when in the stowed position and then the Airplane Pockets Airplane Tray Table Cover does not fit properly and can't be used.

Highly recommend this product. Keeps your things away from dirt from the seat pockets in airplanes. Its amazing! Travel essential!
