Pakistan Long Mulberry Tree - Morus Macroura Long Mulberry - Live Plant Not Dwarf

Tree was really small, but came very healthy, and had a great root system. Happy with my purchase. It may be small but mulberry trees are fast growers. The seller includes a paper on how to make your plant thrive, which is great advice. I would buy from this seller again. Update: Added an updated picture. Growing like a weed and very healthy!

This nursery sent me the tree is not the same as what it advertised!! I bought the Pakistan long mulberry tree from this selling on December 2023. I planted into ground already and waiting for fruiting…. But this year as the tree grows bigger, it never fruits! It’s obvious it is either a male mulberry tree or something else!! Anyway, I am trying to reach out to the seller to refund me and pay me my loss for the time! I could submit the video of the tree if the nursery needs proof.

Wasn’t so green and fresh when I received it, but looked ok still. I think I like it so far. I’ll give it sometime and update my review accordingly.

Received a pretty scrawny twig, thin, maybe 5-6 inch plant with only 3-4 small leaves. I Immediately transplanted it to a 4x4 inch pot with quality soil, and I babied it, taking it indoors overnight. It did nicely there for about a month, growing to nearly a foot tall string bean. Then I up-potted it again to a 3gallon grow bag in a nice high quality mix, and kept it outside full time. It then went on a tear, now growing to nearly two feet tall in 3 or so weeks, with multiple branches and tons of leaves. I’m thrilled with my wonderful mulberry.

A little small but it is green and groo

I purchased a Pakistani mulberry tree in 2021 and planted it in my backyard, eagerly anticipating the day it would bear fruit. After waiting patiently for over three years, this year the tree finally showed signs of fruiting. However, to my utter dismay, the fruit did not resemble the long, purple mulberries I was expecting. Instead, the fruit was tiny and red, more similar to raspberries or small red mulberries. Not only did the fruit not meet my expectations in size and color, but it was also scarce. I feel scammed and extremely disappointed, having invested so much time and money only to be let down. I was looking forward to sharing the joy of picking and eating shehtoot with my children, just like I did in my childhood. Unfortunately, this experience has been a letdown, and I regret the purchase deeply.

Cannot say about flavor as it is still a seedling but the plant was impressive for such a small one! Kept in a shady spot for a week then planted out and this 6 inch plant grew to over two feet in 3 weeks! Used only rabbit manure for fertilizer and kept well watered. Highly recommend!

As with all plant purchases, you need to give it time. But overall, pretty decent lil propagated tree, with a few small leaves. Potted it up and now it'll chill in the Greenhouse over winter before finding a home in the yard. I look forward to some delicious berries in a few years and to propagate this mulberry throughout my property. Thanks!
