I’m very happy with the HOUNDSBAY Cedar Shoe Tree. It works great for keeping my shoes in good shape and helps maintain the original form after wearing them. Review: I have about 30 pairs of Jordans and these HOUNDSBAY cedar shoe trees are in all of them. But I also use them in my dress shoes and any other pair I want to keep looking great long term. Once you start building a real collection, you realize pretty quickly that protecting your investment matters as much as acquiring it -- and shoe trees are the easiest thing you can do to keep your shoes looking fresh. These do exactly what you need them to do: they hold the shape of the shoe so the toe box doesn't crease and collapse between wears, they keep the leather looking clean and structured, and the cedar naturally absorbs moisture after you've worn them. After rotating through a few different shoe tree brands, these are the ones I keep coming back to and buying in bulk. One small thing worth knowing: sometimes the front piece doesn't slide all the way into the toe box on its own when you insert it. A quick push with your hand to get it fully seated does the trick, but it's worth knowing so you don't assume it's in all the way when it isn't. I started using cedar shoe trees specifically for my weightlifting shoes, and that’s where I really noticed the difference. After heavy sessions — especially cleans and squats — my WL shoes would get beat up. Between the pressure, sweat, and just how tight they fit, they’d start to feel worn faster than they should. Since using cedar shoe trees, they actually hold their shape way better. The toe box stays structured, and the overall shoe doesn’t feel as “collapsed” the next time I put them on. The moisture control is the biggest win though. WL sessions get sweaty, no way around it, and these pull that out overnight. My shoes don’t have that stale smell anymore, and they feel dry and ready to go every session. Also, small detail but I appreciate it — the cedar smell is clean, not overpowering. It just makes the shoes feel taken care of. Only thing I’d say is sizing matters. WL shoes are already snug, so if the shoe tree is too big it’ll feel like it’s forcing the shape too much. Get the right size and you’re good. Overall, if you’re investing in weightlifting shoes, this is one of those low-effort things that helps them last longer and feel better session to session. Not flashy, but it does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

Amazon sells several different brands of shoe trees, but in my opinion, these are the very best. Most sets include trees for three shoes. This set provides four at a comparable price. Each tree is labeled left or right, and the trees include a block that fits into the heel of the shoe, so that the full shoe is covered by the cedar tree. A great product!
