Easy to replace old handle
This was purchased to replace a broken handle on a window. Literally took 2 minutes to replace the old one.It's study and is easy to use. It comes with the key to lock it if needed.Very happy with the purchase

Easy to fit and makes an old window look like new
Fitted a pair of these to a window to replace the old broken handles. This took less than five minutes with just a screwdriver, and the window now looks like new.The handles come with a good selection of different length fixings. With the pair of handles supplied, one had countersunk bolts of different lengths the other the snap of type shown in the photo.I just used the bolts that held the old handles on as a cover cap is supplied so you can’t see the bolts when fitted. The different length spindles must cover all eventualities, one of the middle lengths was a perfect match for what I needed. The spindles could easily be cut down if required anyway.Smooth sturdy feeling action and decent enough lock with one key per handle supplied.Definitely recommended and a great value and easy way of improving the look of your windows.

Perfect simple handle
Needed to replace the old window handle in our bedroom as our toddler is tall enough to reach and open the window. We were not given a key to lock the original handle and so the easiest option was to replace the whole handle, rather than find a replacement key.I didn't bother to find out the spindle length before purchasing the new handle, so I bought the multi-spindle option and there was one that matched just fine.Took less than 5 minutes to take off the old handle and replace it with the new.The product took only 2 days to arrive via royal mail, so we didn't have to wait long at all.I did look to buy one in store from Wilko originally, but this one was nearly £3 cheaper.

Lovely looking window handle that doesn't lock
The handle is on the window and it was so easy to fit. It's got the longest metal rod in which was identical to the one I took off. It all fitted nicely except it won't lock. It won't lock either on or off the window.I can't be bothered sending it back I'm just going to keep it but it would have been nice if it even locked as advertised. Tidies up the window no end and for a cheap price too. (probably because it doesn't lock lol)

You may need to fiddle a bit!
Well built and solid, look good. Unfortunately on two of the handles the locks were sticking, it was almost impossible to press the opening button even when the lock did eventually turn. I found that there were drops of hard solidified paint fouling them. So one star removed.After a bit of cussing and probing I got them free and operating smoothly. I wouldn't send them back just for that though and would buy again.
