Super Tool for A Floundering Idiot.
I love this little punch I bought to help make cupcake toppers for my sister's baby shower. It was fairly easy to use and the cuts came out looking extremely professional. The punch has no guide as to where it actually punches, so be warned that you'll have to line up your paper by trial and error. HINT FROM MY IMPATIENT SELF TO YOU: The elephant placement on the punch exterior itself is PRETTY close to the actual thing. Also, punch paper with a right side or desired textured side - UPSIDE DOWN! Trust me! If you don't you'll be flipping all those cute little 3D elephant ears back the right way and cursing yourself for not noticing!I loved this little tool and it did a wonderful job of helping make me look like I knew what in Jesus name I was doing. I didn't even need Pinterest to rescue me with time with this on hand!

tad smaller than i thought but absolutely adorable!
I had seen this particular punch, I thought, used on several etsy items (you know cute cards and invites you would love to make yourself if you had the right tools) so started searching to order it. Well I did find it from the Martha Stewart punches and it was fabulous! Obviously looking at the pictures online the punch looked a tad larger and I was anticipating it to be, but it turned out to be exactly what i wanted.. not to mention the ear flips out on the elephant and makes it just that more adorable :) I did end up using this punch for baby shower invites, party favor boxes and a card and everyone LOVED them.

Cute craft tool for nursery decor
This hole punch makes really cute elephant-themed craft projects! It is a heavy-duty punch that can easily go through two layers on card stock. The plastic casing is rather large, which makes it difficult to know exactly where the punch will be, but this doesn't pose a huge problem. It works best when holding the punch in your hand and squeezing the two handles rather than placing it on a table and pressing down. The punch leaves a small bump at the top and tail of the elephant, but it isn't noticeable at a distance.

Love this! Will definitely be purchasing future punches from her line
This is so adorable! I purchased this to make a mobile / chandelier for my soon to be niece. It added the perfect touch! For first time users make sure you have strong hands if you plan on punching a lot of these little guys out, I jumped in with punching out over 200 elephants and I can now crack a walnut in my bare hands, I might be exaggerating. This punches out crisp, I was using cardstock paper and tested on some paint samples as well. The paint samples were a little thicker so it took more pressure to get a clean cut.

This trunk is not junk
Used this to make elefetti. MANY punches. Still works like a charm. Heavy duty. One drawback - the punch is not made to sit on a flat surface while you are pushing down - the handle is shaped so you have to hold it in your hand. My hand was very sore after a couple hours of punching, continuing into the day after. But then, I did spend hours punching tiny elephants out of cardstock, so should I be surprised?

Cute but if you're making a lot your hand will definitely hurt
The cutouts it makes are adorable! But if you're trying to make a couple hundred cutouts...your palm will be INCREDIBLY sore by the time you're done. We used it to make confetti for a baby shower that was elephant themed. We used cardstock to cutout the elephants and planned to sprinkle them around the centerpieces. I must admit the end result looked good. But the actually punching out the cutouts was not pleasant. You have to really squeeze down hard on the not-soft-at-all handles. After about 50 times the palm of your hand by your thumb will start to hurt. It shouldn't take so much effort to make the cutout but it does (I'm guessing because of the embossed ear). This also works to cutout foam but the edges of the foam cutout aren't as sharp as they are on cardstock or paper.

The puncher looks very nice however, its very hard to punch hole with it. the handle is hard, and if you dont press hard on it, they dont give you a perfect cut
