ProFX10v3 10-Channel Professional Analog Mixer with USB, Onyx Mic Preamps and GigFX Effects Engine

I've only used this in my house for a couple days and on a show last night. I've been using MG series mixers to date for what I need but I won't be going back to them. This mixer blew me away. Sounded stupid great with no issues at all for what I'm using it for and it's performance. This is the same format as the MG series but it goes a little further in options and routing. It's ridiculous how much it blows the MG series away. Mackie rules in this arena.

Awesome device. My wife was invited to an event and I figured to get this just in case, I'm glad I did because there were other DJs and two bands but they didn't have all the equipment to switch from aryirt to artist. I was able to plug them all into this and the sound was awesome! It has plenty of knobs to adjust the basics.

Here’s a cleaner and more polished version: Great mixer with solid sound quality and a surprisingly powerful feature set for the size. If you plan on using it for streaming or connecting it to a computer, I highly recommend replacing the included USB cable with a quality USB-B to USB-C cable. The stock cable kept randomly disconnecting on my Mac. I switched to the Cable Matters 201002-BLK-1m cable and it’s been flawless ever since (they offer multiple lengths as well). As a standalone mixer, this thing absolutely rocks.

Getting the negatives out of the way first, I had to return the first one I ordered back because the Main Meter L leds were inoperable in all channels. Received a replacement the very next day (thanks to the no hassle Amazon return process.) The replacement is working beautifully. The mixer comes with a Quick Start Guide and has an extensive online pdf manual online to download if you wish. It is solidly built, the knobs are smooth, the 24 effects sound good and are useful for vocals and any instrument. Using a Focusrite interface, it records without issue in both Pro Tools and Ableton. After downloading the proper driver the USB functions as advertised and works well in any DAW I tried. This unit is advertised offering free Pro Tools First with plugin bundle. On the Mackie website this offer has been discontinued since 02/2022. Avid has replaced Pro Tools First with Pro tools Intro. I've been using Pro Tools for years so this was not an issue with me, but the offer should not be part of the product description. I like this mixer very much.

The Mackie mixer is an excellent mixer. The sound quality is quite good and so are the effects. In addition, it’s built like a tank and the usb in and out works very well. Just remember to download the proper drivers to your computer from the Mackie website. I am very pleased with my purchase.

These are highly regarded on Amazon because they're cheap, and they provide "good" sound for podcasters. However, when used in a high stakes environment daily, these Mackie ProFX mixers constantly have issues with the boards and power. I had mine run on a 120 line > APC Battery Backup Power Surge Protector & Conditioner > Furman EMI/RFI filtration system > Mackie PowerFX to get the most clean sound possible without any buzzing or line noise. This worked wonderfully, until it didn't. For the SECOND TIME with this manufacturer, I am left with a busted mixer in under a year. The left channel is suddenly just... GONE. No amount of rebooting or resetting will fix this, because it's an electrical issue inside. They are outsourcing to cheap AF Chinese manufacturing plants and well, that's par for the course. No more Mackie equipment for me, I'm punchin out. Bye.

Most definitely the easiest mixer to nevagate. Solid metal, no plastic, except for the knobs. So quick and easy to dial in the tone need for each source (mic, instruments. Very small footprint for all this mixer is capable of.

Recibido bastante rapido y en perfectas condiciones a primera vista. Falta probarla y ver que tan suena. Una vez probada, me ha sorprendido la calidad de sonido y el poco ruido que hace. Un articulo muy recomendable.

Must say this one is a professional quality mixer. Much more features and excellent FX engine and best value for money prices compare to its competitors of 10 channel range. Few pros: superb silent preamps, superb gain , FX inserts , compressors on 2 channels , 3 channel EQ , built-in 24 FX , mute button for all channels , 2X4 USB I/o , screw type power adapter and blend knob for USB 1&2 helps recording mix minus. Of course beautiful colourful buttons layout and lights Just tried recording few songs ..setting up is easy .. need to install drivers from mackie , absolutely stunning recording quality. For live streaming I found we need to be careful on the FX level and also be careful about USB line in is independent / no control on master volume levels so always mute channels when not in use Overall excellent piece of gadget and I recommend this for all hobby musicians as well as busking , karaoke and DJ artists

This mixer came already with some problem on the frequency, at the beginning I was confused and think that the sound so bright was normal, but after now 10 months that I have it I saw big problem, all instruments that I plug on it become bright sound, and I have to close all right frequency and it still with this problem, now I can not use it for work, because in addition to the super high-pitched sound, there are also sound noises as if there was some interference, I'm going to send it for assistance because it's still under warranty, but I don't think it can be fixed, in short, I WILL NEVER BUY MAKIE PRODUCTS AGAIN, going back to YAMAHA
