Handy pitcher for hot and cold beverages
Really nice size. Great for iced tea. Handled the hot water just fine. Fits well in fridge. Good value for the price. Lid doesn’t screw on but I prefer it to just pull out easily.

Perfect for 3 LARGE cups of Coffee
When I make my coffee, I make four large mugfuls at a time. I do not mind that it sits in the fridge for a few days. As I fill my mug, each fill is approximately 14 ounces. After the first mug, I have three left to store. This container DOES hold 41 ounces if filled to the brim. It is perfect for my purpose! I've tried other brands and found them to be too small, too fragile or have a horrible cap.I do have a couple of complaints that are reflected in my star ratings: The spout is poorly shaped. It actually takes practice to pour without the liquid running down the side and all over the place. The handle is not at all ergonomic and a bit uncomfortable. Finally, the whole thing is VERY HEAVY glass; probably unnecessarily heavy. I was washing one of the two that I bought through Amazon and dropped it no more than 2 inches in the sink. The spout hit first and broke!Be warned: Amazon does not use uniform packaging. Sometimes they ship this HEAVY GLASS with ZERO protection. Combine that with delivery personnel who THROW the packages onto my porch ... my first order arrived as glass shards. One of the best features is the closure cap. It appears to fit well but is not overly difficult to remove. Finally, the jug comes with a sticker on it that includes bar codes and an internet address for the company. It ALSO includes a PICTOGRAM that is tiny. I am including a photo of it because I want to know what it is SUPPOSED to be telling me. Even magnified, I only think I understand part of it and have no comprehension of the third image. I wrote to the company but they have NOT answered. I THINK the first two images say to wash the jug after unpacking. I'm going to ask this question through the Amazon ad. If ANYONE can tell me what the far right image means, I would be grateful. I am VERY curious!

I love this brand
My family loves tea, we have 2 that want sweet tea and 2 that want sweet tea with so much lemon it’s probably closer to Arnie Palmer’s. I got 2 of these to make sun-tea, I love that they are thick heavy borosilicate (think Pyrex). My absolute favorite part, and why i have now purchased 2 of the larger pitchers (which I use 2 family size teabags w/8 cups of water and plenty of room to add sweetener, lemon and ice), 2 of these Gello pitchers (that holds 4 cups w/1 family size tea bag- a great “personal size”) and also the large flip top gallon jug, is because they are made in Italy and NOT CHINA. I also have never found a spigot that I have been comfortable with material wise, or that I ever feel I’ve gotten cleaned out, and I can pour just fine. I will continue to buy their products.

Works great
Holds a lot of liquid, easy to clean. Remove lid when pouring to avoid spills.

drips
No matter what, I can't pour without it dripping down the side of the pitcher.

It’s great so long as you don’t need a full lid seal
This is a beautiful pitcher I purchased to store our homemade coffee creamer in. It’s great because it is a square-ish shape, meaning it fits in the fridge better than a round jug, and the glass is heavy at an appropriate weight. There’s no residue or weird taste like some of the other brands I’ve purchased. It’s a good value overall. My only gripe that is causing me to drop to three stars is that the seal is weird. For something that doesn’t regularly need shaken, it’s fine. However, if you’re putting something like creamer in it, it’s difficult to shake a bottle and it not spray out all over. The seal is not airtight by any means and won’t prevent spills if tipped over. We’re keeping it because it’s fine, but I would go with a slightly different one in hindsight

8 Years Later and Still Going Strong
I bought this eight years ago when I was in college for making cold brew coffee; it's been seven years since I graduated and it's still going strong. It's survived two cross country moves, two interstate moves, and three local moves (and being dropped on the ground a handful of times.) It still takes weekly beatings making iced coffee without any threat of succumbing to temperature shock. It's lid has held up, despite the near-constant use, but I do hand-wash it. It was sort of my first "grown-up" purchase, and it's still something I just love and makes me happy to have. Would recommend.
