Buy the cheapest one, they're all identical
Another reviewer pointed out that ALL OF THESE HAND GRINDERS ARE THE SAME. I got this one in light of that because it was the cheapest ($13). It has no logo on it; they just switch the box out. It now makes sense why I didn't recognize any of the many, many brand names.I don't care, it's an interesting way to market an item, getting multiple prices for the same item depending on what people are willing to pay I suppose. Just buy whichever is the cheapest at the moment. For $13 it's a decent, convenient grinder, though it does take a few minutes to grind one scoop and you'll get some exercise. My deducted star is for the weak spring thing that holds the conical ceramic burr in place. It isn't firmly held, so as a bean sticks in one side to be ground, it pushes the burr over a bit. This means I get uneven grounds. I also have a Krups electric burr grinder, and that thing produces much more even grounds.

I don't see nothin' wrong, with a little hand grindin'
Decided to start making pour over coffee at home. Didn't want to buy yet another kitchen appliance. Went for this hand grinder instead. Really happy that I did. It works like a charm. Does require a little elbow grease but you quickly get used to it. The grind of the coffee is easily adjustable. Figuring out how to shift the ceramic burr to your liking takes a little trial and error, but once you get it right, you probably won't change it much. The handle easily comes off making this grinder easy to store. It's also simple to clean. Love it.

Honest & Unbiased
When I had bought this I noticed the incredible low price to positive review ratio, but I hadn't realized that most of the reviews were completely biased "honest and unbiased" reviews from customers who received discounts. After a month of use the ceramic burr became very wobbly causing inconsistent grinds. I'm talking like super coarse mixed with super fine. It was a bit disappointing. Then again, I've become so dang good at these Chemex pour overs, I don't even need consistent grinds! I mean, I could throw whole coffee cherries in that filter and still manage to brew some of that goodness you know what I'm sayin'?Not really. But like, of coarse it's still possible to make a fine cup of coffee and stuff.So... it's all good, I guess.

functional but not excellent
theres nothing 'pressing' your ground downwards while grinding so grinding can take awhile as your efforts are not always being effective. also the handle has no nut to keep it in place. while its nice to have the handle removable so easily, it is a gripe to not being able to lock the handle in before use. there are 2 settings, 'fine' and 'course'. thats a lie imo, id say both directions give you 'fine' grinds. i use this for my 'personal k cup' with my keurig and both sizes of grinds are too small to prevent grinds in my coffee.

Not durable.
Worked perfectly until it came unglued. The top part that holds the beans is plastic inside and held together with glue. The part came unglued after three months and now the grinder won't grind consistently. Not sure of a safe glue to repair it so it's garbage to me.

Great backup!
This is a great, little grinder. The grind is inconsistent, and it's obviously made in China, but for $10 it's very useful and doesn't need electricity. I use this as a backup grinder in case the power is out or I forget to have the shop grind my beans. I give it four stars because I've broken one before, but only after about 100 uses.

Works as expected.
I usually grind my beans in an electric grinder. However, this is fancy for when you want to grind a small amount of beans for guests. Otherwise, it is really tiring to grind beans this way. It would take me many minutes of straight grinding to grind enough for multiple servings. And take note that I am a guy who works out regularly. Imagine how hard it'd be for someone else. Does what it says it would do and feels like a solid grinder though.

Burr wobbles, terrible for coarser grinds.
The media could not be loaded. I've had this grinder for about a year now. I understand that the larger/coarser the grind size I want, the more wobble/play I will get with the axle, BUT to my surprise it was actually the ceramic burr itself that wobbled a lot. The removable burr (the white part) does not fit snuggly with the black nylon insert so you get a ridiculous amount of wobble to the point where if there is a bean between the burr parts, it would push that side of the burr up and leave a lopsided burr. Basically you have no consistency when it comes to grind size, which is unfortunate.
