I own Sandvic hacksaw blades, Chicago-Latrobe drill bits, a Le Creuset Dutch Oven, Yaxell knives and more. But you already knew this product wasn't made in Switzerland when you asked the question, didn't you? If you want a European-made product,Wusthof makes a nice sandwich knife. You can get it at Cutlery and More for $100.

It is long enough to reach the bottom of the pb but not for the 30 ounce mayo jar. I love mine because it is wide.
