Can this be used to mark metal with a 2.5W laser engraver?

Sounds too good to be true when comparing pricing with Cermark... you will NOT get a consistent mark on stainless steel with this. Cermark is a metal marking compound available in a variety of application styles and if you price your engraving right, it is worth it. That’s what we use but we have a 30w and a 60w laser... good luck!

Does it work for squeaky door hinges? How do you apply the product to the hinges?

I'm sure it would work fine on the door hinges. It would be a little hard to apply just because of the fact that there is no small straw for precise application.

I received a can of this. Isn't it supposed to come with a plastic straw/tube to spray through?

Sorry, Southern Man, no straw and I could not get a spare straw to fit into the nozzle. So, it makes a holy mess when you use it. So be careful. It is a dry lube suspended in a highly volatile liquid matrix. The liquid carries the lube then evaporates leaving the dry lube. Very messy and hard to get the overspray off but a great lubricant. I used it to lube the blade carriage and gears on a 1951 Delta Unisaw. Really works well just be careful of overspray, wear gloves cause you don't want to try to clean your hands. Good luck!

How does this differ from Teflon in performance?

it stays in the microscopic grooves of the metals, Teflon will wash away, I would not use Teflon in an eng assembly. do not know what u are using it for
