These are very very close in quality as sockets made by Snap On, Mac, Matco and Cornwell at about 1/2 the tool truck cost. SK ratchets in my opinion are not as fine as before mentioned, but very good still. I own numerous tools by made by many great manufacturers. SK hand tools are as good in most cases as anyone out there. This 1/2 drive set weighs 17lbs and certainly are great quality tools by any standard. I believe you can more and I'm postive that you can pay less for other brands of tools. This set will last you a lifetime and still be passed on to future sons or daughters. You won't regret buying this set of 6point sockets. Set doesn't come with a universal joint included, but has a place for it in the case.... of course I had to buy one : ) to complete the set.

This is an American made socket and ratchet set. Fine fit and finish SK products last a lifetime. I would buy it again from this seller.

The chrome finish on these sockets are terrible! SK used to be my favorite tools, I would not recommend purchasing them today. Their customer service is terrible as well, definitely not the company they used to be.

I had a good set of USA made cratsman for years until they grew feet and was quite happy with them. The las few years i been to cheap to replace them with any thing decent and went the harbor freight route. while harbor freight does replace broken tools i found my self stopping the job and making 3 or 4 trips everytime i tried to do something which got old. bought my self 3 sets of these SK sockets and could not be happier. quality os better than my old craftsman and on par with snap ons i use at work. ratchets are very solid but my personal preference i dont like these style of ratches so i bought 3 of the all metal style german made wera's to use with these couldnt be happier.

Good tools use them when I was starting to work on cars 40 years ago

SK is a Professional Socket Set at near DIY prices. The carrying cases are sturdy making it the perfect set to grab and go. Many mechanics swore by SK in the ‘40s through ‘70s when you could find them at your local hardware store. Now you can find them online and they are as good as ever. Treat yourself. You and your projects deserve it.

Money well spent!! This set replaced my craftsmans tools. I never had a full set of 1/2 drive sockets and was gonna buy a craftsmans set till I found out there Chinese now. I only buy American tools.

Great socket set becaue all are 6 point and come in a plastic case, with both sae and metric, both standard depth and deep well. The rachet works perfectly and has eliminated all the frustration that came with my craftsman sockets and loose ratchets. I should have bought these years ago, the quality is top notch Avoid sets that come with 6 point and 12 point you dont need 12 point sockets if you are using a ratchet they only make the set heavier.
