Works well!

I needed a good chisel to help split out a large tree root that was sticking up out of the ground about 6 inches and about 8ft long. The wood was really hard and between my small chain saw and the chisel I was able to get the root out without having to call a tree trimmer outfit. Large screw drivers and other type wedges would not work. I beat it up pretty good with a heavy 3lb hammer and not once hit my hand because of he guard on the top. Excellent tool for multiple jobs.

I needed this for a big indoor project, removing some brick and tile. It worked beautifully and after heavy work, it looked almost new.

Over all, not a bad set of chisels.The didn't withstand a couple of days of amateur hard rock mining that well though. I used them in an agate/jasper mine and the smaller point broke and the larger one was pretty well round after a few hours of use. That said, I did kind of expect those results. Those rocks are significantly harder than concrete or mortar, which is what these chisels were advertised as being for. I also used them while digging obsidian, and they had no significant wear from that, as expected due to it being a much softer material.

used this to repair a brick wall. I am a 67 year old woman and thought it worked very well. I also appreciate the hand guard. good quality.

Was able to make a stone walk way because of this tool. The guard really saved our hands.
