No. Renny has no microphone and never listens to conversations. It alerts you to incoming calls, but you answer on your phone as usual. Its microphone-free design protects your privacy while making calls much harder to miss.

Does Renny need Wi-Fi, an app or batteries?

No Wi-Fi, app, account or monthly fee is required. Renny has no battery; it plugs into a standard outlet and stays on, so there is nothing to charge. It connects directly to your phone by Bluetooth.

What are RING Mode, MUSIC Mode and Talking Caller ID?

RING Mode plays 1 of 5 tones; other alerts stay on your phone. MUSIC Mode sends calls, texts, email and app sounds through Renny. LED flashes for calls only. Talking Caller ID reads the number aloud in either mode; hold Music Note 3 seconds.

Which phones work with Renny, and does it reconnect automatically?

Renny works with iPhones, Android phones, Jitterbug smartphones and many newer Bluetooth-enabled flip phones. After first pairing, it automatically reconnects when your phone returns within range—up to 150 ft in ideal conditions.

Can I connect more than one phone or Renny?

Each Renny connects to one phone at a time. You can connect two Rennys to the same phone for larger or multi-level homes. The Rennys connect separately to the phone, so place the phone where it stays within range of both.
