This safety rail was much heavier and more sturdy than I expected. It is made with heavy metal, but installed very easily. I put it on the tub easily and it tightened up easily. I have used it for a week, it doesn't slip, it makes it much easier to get into and out of the bathtub. I would be a little concerned if a child was taking a bath in the tub, because the parts inside the tub look a bit sharp, but it removes easily should that be needed. The paint looks durable, I don't think it will chip easily.

What a life saver ! I ordered this when my elderly mom moved in with me it really helped her to get in and out of the shower , but also off the toilet! Super sturdy and very easy to put on. The grip is fantastic and the height is perfect! The price was right in our budget since we had to add other things to help her function in my home. I definitely recommend !

Very easy to attach to the rim of your tub, just slide it over the tub rail and turn the knob until it is tight. It is very well built. It's been a couple of months on the rail, and has remained tight. --- While its not a thing of beauty, it has another good use if your tub is close and parallel to the toilet. Just reach over to help lift yourself up as needed.

I am pleasantly surprised by how heavy duty it is. I bought this to help my elderly father get in and out of the shower/bath tub. I am certain that this will make it easier for him. It was easy to install and tightens easily to make it stable and secure.

This thing is amazing. I broke my ankle and needed surgery and someone recommended this grab bar to me for helping to get in and out of the shower. I live alone and so was really nervous to take a shower by myself after surgery, but this made it possible! It's expensive but very high quality. I rent an apartment so I wanted to get a shower bar that was sturdy, but wouldn't leave marks on my bathtub. This shower bar is adjustable to the width of your bathtub, and also has padding on the inside so that it won't mess up your bathroom or scratch it. It's metal and VERY sturdy! I'm so glad I bought this, it has made a huge difference in my quality of life and I feel safe showering on my own.

Don't know what I would do without this item. It's sturdy and holds well to the tub. Had mine for six years and am replacing it now because the old one is losing some grip.

The bathtub safety rail arrived earlier than expected. We were able to install the device easily to the side of the tub. It offers balance support for me when I get in and out of the tub where I like to stand and take showers. It was recommended to me by my visiting Occupational Therapist when I got out of the hospital to assist me me with the shower. I didn't realize such aids existed.
