I have extreme loss of hearing in one ear which means stereo headsets do not work most of the time in stereo. However most mono headsets are awfulLY big and heavyand uncomfortable. These are very light weight and comfortable. They sound is excellent; great clarity. Extra long cord. Volume control easy on the cord... easy to reach and adjust. Some say these headsets are fraguile, I think siting on or misusing any headphones will break them. For the price I bought another

This is my second pair. The first still work after 5 years but the plastic above the ear muffs broke. Repaired with duct tape. Most of you will need to purchase an extension cable. Has a volume control. When filling out warranty you will need to know the "batch" #, I had to use a magnifying glass to see it embossed on the inside of the plastic piece above the ear muffs, Good product. I much prefer over the wireless headphones. Your tv MUST have an audio/headphone jack in back. This is rare in tv s larger than a 32" dorm size.

I bought these for my dad who has lost most of his hearing, so he could watch TV without the TV volume turned up all the way. These things have made life so much better for my dad. I bought a 25 foot cable so they would reach the TV, plugged them in, and they worked perfectly! They’re comfortable, lightweight, and the sound quality is very good. Most importantly, there is a volume control on the cord that goes to the headset, so my dad can easily turn the volume down during commercials. I was a little disappointed that the headphones don’t get very loud, even with the volume turned all the way up. But my dad isn’t listening to Heavy Metal music...he’s just watching TV, and he says the volume gets as loud as he needs it to. If you’re getting these headphones to listen to music, you’ll probably be disappointed that the volume doesn’t get loud enough. That’s the only reason I didn’t give these a five star rating.

Excellent sound quality and very well made! The extra long cord is very nice too.

For the price, the sound quality was acceptable. Durability, however, fell short. First, one adjustable arm and then the other broke at the exact same place: Just at the bottom quarter inch of where the adjustable arm connects to the swivel arm of each speaker. Seems like a design flaw. I notice that speakers only swivel one direction. I am not sure if this is the issue that caused them to break, but I've only been using them with my laptop on my desk, because I work at night while my wife sleeps. I now have duct tape on both sides of the headphones and will be replacing them as soon as possible. I don't think I will purchase these again, despite the sound quality being fine for what I am using them for.

Comfortable and the long cord is very helpful when you have to move a little away from the device these are attached to.

This is my third purchase of this same item. The last one lasted about 6 months, so this time, I added the extended warranty because FOR SURE this will not last. Why did I repurchase? Because the audio is very good, the inline volume adjustment is very good, and I did not want to fool around with wireless hookups because I'm using a TV in someone else's house. So the plug in doesn't require anything other than the ability to know the difference between Audio Out and Video Out - and THAT I can do. AND I love the length of the cord so even in a large room you can still use the headphones. Now to the problem: The plastic just above the ear covering broke on BOTH SIDES. I just got this a little over a month ago. So unless you keep a ready syringe of Gorilla Glue next to your TV stand, DO NOT PURCHASE. I repaired both easily, but WHY should I have to? It's a faulty design. Plain and simple. And I'm VERY CAREFUL with my belongings, as most adults are, so this piece of trash did not break because of mishandling, misuse, or carelessness. THE MANUFACTURER IS SELLING JUNK, and so is this seller. I do not put up with this, ever, and always speak up no matter what. Everyone else needs to do the same in an honest fashion. NO MORE KNOWN JUNK PLEASE! It wastes time, energy, money, and goodwill.

Impressed with quality product at budget price. Sounds great in stereo or mono. Needed it to plug into my 5.1 amplifier to watch Tv without disturbing anyone late at night. The 5m coiled cable is good but to avoid people accidently walking into it, I put a couple of light, lounge pillows or magazines over them on the floor. It is about a 3.5m from the amp to the couch so it easily reaches the distance.
