Better buy Silver DIP liquid & dip the precious metal inside the bottle for (10 - 15 SECONDS) ONLY. Remove it and let it flow under tap water for few seconds. The shine shall remain for 2 - 3 months and or depends on sweat or oxidation process due to climatic changes.

Can this polish be used on antique german silver and silver utensils

MY OBSERVATION : You may use it. Test a little part of the item before applying on the whole item and check for reactions. I believe it can used on all silver items, including antiques (if they are pure silver). I cannot say the same for other metals.

MY OBSERVATION : It is used to clean silver items and get rid of tarnishes and discolorations. It is used to give it a good finish. It is not used as a waterproofing agent.
