Great uses air and heat. I have very short hair and it is wonderful for some lift on the top and smooths the rest down.

This is a great hot air styling brush to use on regular synthetic wigs. There is no temperature control, but does have two speed settings. If you have a longer wig, it is possible to get the fibers tangled in the teeth. If that happens, turn it off right away. Then you unscrew the tip of the brush and it will come off of the handle which will allow you to detangler it from your wig. The bristles are hard plastic there is no give to them. It’s the perfect size and it is lightweight. It’s easy to hold onto and use.

This hot air brush does exactly what I wanted to do. I used it on damp hair and it makes loose ringlet curls out of my medium length thick hair. I’m pleased with the price and how quiet it is. I’m a little worried that it seems fragile, but I didn’t need all the fancy extras that the other air brushes that I saw had. I normally don’t buy items that are rated less than 4.5 stars, but I’m glad I took a chance on this one. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because I just started using it and it does seem fragile, so I’m not sure if it will last But the price was right and it does a great job.

I use this air curler/ dryer everyday cos it doesn’t hurt my fine hair the weight is light and the grip on it is good not so wide. The bristles r kind of stiff but seem very durable

I've been using these hair styling tools for over 20 years! It used to be manufactured by Helen of Troy and I bought them from Sally Beauty Supply stores. Now, it is called "Hot Tools" and is sold through the Helen of Troy company in Texas. It has always been the same tool with some minor changes here and there. FIRST, you need to know it is NOT A HAIR DRYER! It is a hot air "styling tool". You can use it on your dry hair, or you can wash your hair and dry it with a dryer, leaving it damp, then use this styling tool. I buy the 1-1/2 " size because I want a more relaxed curl. My hair is very straight, thick, and finely textured. This tool makes it so easy for me to get ready in the mornings. I just grab a chunk of hair and count to 15 or more and release. I've never had it tangle my hair! I probably use it on 6 or 8 sections of my hair while counting to 15, each time and I'm done! Doesn't get much easier than that! The tool lasts a long time, 3 or 4 years, with daily use. You DO need to keep lint out of the air intake area at the end of the tool. I occasionally use a straight pin, with the tool off and unplugged, to gently lift out any lint that might collect there. It probably works best for short to medium hair. I've used it for both. I also used it on the ends of hair when I had long hair. You just can't wind your long hair around it. I highly recommend this great styling tool!

I specifically ordered this because I am new to wig wearing. I can't afford the real hair or heat friendly wigs at this time so mine are purely non-heat friendly synthetic, but this specific one can be used on LOW setting to help style synthetic wigs. When you unbox or unbag a new wig alot of the time it is lookin kinda crazy - but spray with a little water (not soak) and use this to help direct the fibers in the direction you want them to go. Do NOT hold on for an extended period of time and hold your hand on it until the fiber is cooled. Voila...you have styled your wig to your preference! I highly recommend!

We buy 2 or three at a time to have spares. If used daily, I think 6-8 months may be as much as you can get out of one. Taking it appart and cleaning occaisionally can extend life.

This was the first brush on a hair dryer that I purchased and tried. It is 1 1/2 inches around the brush barrel without including the size of the bristles. This wasn’t as quick to dry my hair as I thought it should be (although it wasn’t too slow), but it really treated my hair well!! The problem was that my hair is just a little bit longer than shoulder-length hair, and I was trying to style my hair with more of a feathered back look, parted on one side. However, because the barrel size of the brush was so small, it made my hair too curly!! I needed for it to just get some volume from the roots of my hair, which it did, then style to the back. I ended up with little curls at the ends of my hair in the back instead! I did try to style it more by drawing out the hair and holding it straight in the brush head to take out some of the little curls, but that wasn’t working. I had to use my flat curling iron to draw out my hair from the smaller curls and be able to brush it fully over to one side part and around to the back. I still had little curls in the back of my hair, but I figured I could live with it that way for one day. If you have short hair and like small curls, then I think this brush dryer could be great for you!! I found it easy enough to maneuver, and if I were going to wear my hair short, I probably would keep it. However, I am in the process of trying to grow my hair back long like it used to be. When I pulled out the few hairs on the brush of the device, I couldn’t tell that it had been used at all~~even though it was just the one time that I used it! I was able to get all of my hair out of it and will be returning it for another brush hairdryer/styler with a bit bigger barrel on it so I won’t have any little curls. I hope this review is helpful! I will continue on my quest to find the right brush hairdryer/styler that will work best for my hair.

Práctico y muy eficiente

I have very fine, layered, short hair, thinning in places around the crown. I love love this little blow dryer. The barrel is slim enough to catch and hold my hair, does not tangle it, I am careful to unwind the hair from the barrel, this is easy to do. There is plenty of heat in it for my hair, in fact I usually use it on the low setting, after blow drying it to damp/dry with a regular blow dryer. I can give my hair some loose or tighter curl if I want, or just smooth it a little for some lift and body. Easily gives my hair lots of body which I need. I find it is well made no different in quality from any of the other hair appliances I have. So a big Thankyou to Hot Tools for the small barrel styler, it has made my life very much easier.

This brush gets hot enough to actually curl your hair. Love it. This product is NOT dual voltage so does not work in the UK

Me gustó mucho, tiene dos medidas de calor bajo y alto tu eliges, viene en su caja muy bien empacado, llegó en excelente estado, antes de tiempo, justo lo que esperaba, excelente opción para ondular el cabello y crear volumen controlado fácilmente, el cable es largo no se enrrosca al girar en el cabello pues gira el cable al peinar, no es tan pesado, y de muy buena calidad, justo lo que esperaba, muchas gracias al vendedor!!

Excelente cepillo, no daña y es muy práctico.
