This ink cartridge was always available at a great price.

Expensive ink from Epson - so should I turn to compatible brand, although not recommended by Epson? If you want to print there’s a price to pay.

I’ve just had this delivered and printed 6 standard print pages and now my printer and Epson app say the ink is low!! The first image is when the ink cartridge was installed, the second is after 3 pages printed and the last is after 6 pages! My printed is now flashing low ink again!! That’s £12.99 for 6 sheets of print!!! 😡😡😡

I suppose all printer ink is expensive, but I only print around 10 sheets a week of black print and within a month all of the cartridges are empty. I've tried the cheaper brands this time.

I think it might be worthwhile sacrificing my new cartridge before I install it by melting a tiny hole in the top, then injecting it with some bulk black in I bought some years ago, then resealing it with tape. Then every so often, topping it up without removing the cartridge from it's bed. If it works, only then will it be worth buying the coloured cartridges.... As at £3,235 a litre is madness, it's only a fifth of the price of 22ct gold by weight!!!
