MELPO Led Flood Light 30W, 300W Equivalent Outdoor Color Changing Lights

We use four of these lights on stage for our regional cover band, and they’ve been excellent. The build quality is very solid, and they provide great uplighting for the front of our stage while our other stand-mounted lights handle the color effects. One of the best features is the phone app control — being able to turn all the lights on or off with a single tap is extremely convenient during setup and performances. The app is also very adjustable and easy to use for changing colors, brightness, and settings. These lights are bright, reliable, and perfect for stage or landscape lighting. Definitely a great value for the quality and features.

These lights are awesome!! Im glad I read the reviews about waterproofing them because I live in South Florida where we get multiple Tstorms a day. I put silicone around the edging and they have held up perfectly! They are super bright and are controlled thru an app which is very basic, straightforward and easy to use. They pair within seconds too. I ended up purchasing more and will leave them out year round. I hooked them up to a dusk to dawn extension cord.

I LOVE these lights. The app is very easy to use & customize. You can save 9 differnt color scenes for quick access. The colors are vibrant and so pretty. They're easy so mount and theyre stable once you've set them up. The lighting coverage is nice too, i have 6 of them but I usually just use 1 unless i want multiple colors.

It works great once you get used to the app, but there are a few quirks. It would be nice if the devices had a manual on/off switch. Without the app. the only way to turn it off and on is to unplug it or plug it in (unless it is on a plug with a light switch or on a timer). Also, at least for Android, the app overwrites the Navigation Bar (Recents, Home, Back) on the bottom so that they are not available. There seemed no apparent way to get out of the app or access other apps without restarting your phone. It took me a while to figure out that you need to swipe down or up to access the Navigation Bar buttons. I think this is the only app on my phone with this issue. Also if you are using a function that changes light colors real-time like playing music, when you close the app and restart it (or replug in the device), the color of the light is the last color that happened to be displayed versus the default color you have set in the app. The music function which synchs music on your phone to a light show, works great, but cannot run when any other app is active. For instance, you cannot surf the internet while playing music with the app. Once you move off the music function screen, the music stops playing and the lights stop flashing. And when you come back, it doesn't start from where you left off, but from the beginning. This was potentially a pretty big deal to me, as I am constantly doing other stuff on my phone while listening to music. However, I can use this product's other lighting functions, including custom color schemes, and use another app to play music, even another bluetooth app, which works fine although the music and lighting aren't synched. Also, for setting custom color schemes, there is no orange. There is red, yellow, green, cyan, blue, and violet, but no orange. Therefore, you can make a custom scheme that say cycles between red violet blue violet red violet blue , , , or blue cyan green cyan blue cyan green . . . but you can't make one that cycles between red orange yellow orange red orange yellow . . . None of these are a big deal to me except maybe the music function not allowing your phone to be used for anything else, but it would be an improvement if these issues were addressed. And all-in-all, I am really happy with it. In reality, all I was looking for was something that I could set a specific color for mood lighting so all the additional functionality is gravy. To me, a great deal for 30+ bucks.

I have purchased this brand of lights four separate times to add to my collection. I have owned them for close to 2 years. I have used them outside with Halloween decorations to light up the trees. I have also used them in 3 weddings, a formal, Mardi gras event, father/daughter dance, and a graduation party. They have performed and exceeded my expectations each time. Every time I use them, I have someone question me about them because they liked them. I now own 12. Here are the features that I like: 1. It only requires your Bluetooth so you don't have to worry about Wi-Fi and you just use your app. 2. The wide array of colors that you can use 3. The feature of changing all the lights to the same thing or making them all different colors. 4. You can easily add more lights in the app (Use the plus sign on the top right of the app, plug in your light, accept the terms, and that is it). 5. I like that they cool off quickly so you can store them back in their original boxes Things I would like to see them improve on: 1. Their cords aren't supper long so it will require long extension cords and I usually use an extension cord with three heads so you don't have to many cords. 2. They have features on the app that change with scenes such as Christmas, Valentines, etc. I wish there were more options. However, they do let you do your own scene but I haven't figured that out yet. Overall, I would highly recommend the brand and lights. It does matter how you position them so go ahead and play with them at night for the best position. I hope this review helps you and let you know how many hours I have used them with no issues at all. I will probably add a few more when they are on sale.

You can program which color you need the lights to be. I needed green & purple. They are PERFECT for my front yard Halloween display!

I wanted to like these lights. Setting them up was easy. I downloaded the app, plugged them in, and turned them on. And it went downhill from there. The app is junk. Horrible. And I mean that in the nicest way possible. It's completely non-intutive, hard to use, and just a pain in the rear. It's also REQUIRED in order to use the lights. The lights themselves have no power switch, no way to change intensity or color. Nothing. YOU MUST USE THE HORRIBLE APP. So anyway... I finally got it all up and running, finally figuring out how to set the timer so they go on and off automatically. Over the course of the next week, I became increasingly frustrated as the lights would sometimes come on at night, sometimes not. Sometimes they would turn off in the morning, sometimes not. I had to go around with my phone checking them twice a day - which is NOT what I wanted to be doing. I packaged them up and returned them. With that in mind, they are well built, sturdy, and weather-proof. They are very bright and look great when they are actually working.

Loving my 2 pc high quality light set! My son had these in a 4 piece set and they are so nice as they offer so many options through the downloadable app. Remember to stand within a few feet of the lights so your phone can pair well while you select your light show as your phone IS your remote control. They will "remember" the setting from the day before so you don't have to reprogram each night. You can control each light show's speed on flash/fade and can program them to sync with music if you want to add that feature. My husband plugged them in while I was away and they were set and ready to go from the night before. I was so impressed when I pulled in the driveway. Would def buy again as the lights are bright and beautiful.

I bought these for Halloween (Oct 2025), but have used them for general lighting when I needed it, and for kids' parties, and they're great. Installing the controller on my phone was easy, the controls are pretty intuitive, and the range of colours means you have lots of options. Will probably buy a few more for next Halloween, and would recommend.

Love my lights. Arrived at the beginning of Oct. Installed them outside already and my snow covered trees look fantastic. I should have bought 4 instead of 2, but these are doing an amazing job for now. Let's see how long they last

The output of these lights are amazing. So bright for such a little light. The colors are vibrant and made my display pop. And they didn't attract and bugs which was a bonus. Could have been lucky with that but I will take it. The instructions were not too complicated for someone who it tech savvy but might be confusing for someone who is not. I think there should be more fade options not just blink. Overall pretty happy.
