Works quite well
I'm using this thermal compound on an i9-9900k with a Corsair AIO 240mm cooler. My first attempt with a different thermal compound proved disappointing. So I decided to try MasterGel Maker, as it had decent reviews. The applicator is interesting, and the instructions tell to lay it down in stripes like caulk across the CPU, to me that seemed like you're using a lot of compound vs. the traditional grain of rice/small pea sized amount, but that's what I did. I did three stripes across the CPU and used the plastic spatula thing to spread it out to get full coverage on the CPU. It did seem like an excessive amount of thermal paste. It's also very thick (again like caulk) Nevertheless I hooked up the CPU cooler and powered on the machine. The results were actually very, very good. idle temps dropped a few degrees, and the temps under load dropped significantly. I have a slight overclock (5.0Ghz across all cores) and under a typical gaming load temps temps never get above 70c, and idle at around 27-29C. Under a full stress load, temps get up to the mid 80's , but I don't get any throttling. This stuff works well, better than MX4, AS5, or TF8. It's on par with Kryonaut IMHO.

A good replacement for IC diamond
So are far as I'm aware IC diamond is no longer in production which kinda sucks because it was the best for bare CPU head applications. After some thumbing around and reading I stumbled on this paste which has the same properties as IC Diamond without its issues. It's a super thick paste that's great for bare head applications. It's heat transfer is amazing. There as been some worry about the nano diamond particles being used in this compound etching the CPU head. I decided to take an old logic board and rub, I mean really rub the compound into the head roughly. No etching as you can see in the photo. It's safe for use and it's dropped the temp on my Mac mini to the 40s. It's normally about 55c. Great stuff.

Thick paste, good for GPUs
It's a thick paste that is not easy so spread, luckily the included applicator head really helps, as spread is the common method for GPU pastes. It will last a long time on reasonablely small GPUs.

Impressive thermal improvements on a hot laptop
Very very happy with this paste. Used it on both gpu and cpu on a 2070 max q and 9750h Lenovo Y740. Previously, the laptop got quite hot, with the CPU sitting 90-94 degrees while gaming, even with clean fans and ideal ventilation. After applying this paste, cpu spikes are still jumping into 90s, but will drop down into the 80s and stay there under heavy load, eventually settling into the 70s when things stabilize. Overall, I’d estimate a solid 5-10 degree drop during the most intense operation and the fact that it keeps the cpu under 90 consistently is exactly what I wanted it for. I’m very impressed that while under load but not maxed, this paste has also given me a 5-10 degree temp drop, which is a lot more than I expected for normal use circumstances. With max q laptops, stable temps across all cores is sorta impossible, but with this stuff it seems like temps are holding solid between 70-85 while pushing everything to the limit, and as far as I’m concerned that’s a massive improvement over what used to be 85-95 degree temps under load. For regular use, my temps are sitting in the 40-60s, which is pretty damn good for a gaming laptop and way more than I was expecting. Unlike some reviews on here, my paste was a normal consistency and handled exactly like any other thermal paste I’ve used. However, the design of the tube is, in a word, stupid. The flat tip doesn’t really help spread the paste any easier than an old credit card, and you can watch YouTube videos explaining why spreading is a bad idea anyway, so the design is solving a problem that doesn’t exist. The tube does dispense a uniform line, but I found it a bit too wide for my small laptop cpu and I had to do a little cleaning with iso to make everything neat. Still, 2 oz is 30% more than the industry standard for tubes at this price point, so it’s hard for me to complain too much. Overall, it wasn’t a nightmare to use, but I think the design is more about marketing than functionality, which is why I docked a star. Time will tell how long these temps hold before I need to reapply, but for now I’m beyond happy with the results I’ve gotten from this paste and would definitely recommend this, especially when you consider the cost to benefit ratio.

Works very well
Love this stuff to bad it's discontinued, have used it on CPUs and GPUs

Just works
Area 51m R2. Had idel temps of 41°C for CPU and 37°C GPU with fans at 100%. When I was gaming the CPU shot up to 100°C and GPU 80°C. Cleaned out the fans and that help the idle temps but not gaming. Replaced with the very thick CM Mastergel. It's more of a tacky than a paste like Lock-Tight caulk. The flat tip can be used as a scraper since it comes out at an angle one on side. After instal my idle temps are CPU 35°C and GPU 32°C. Gaming the max both get is CPU 77°C and GPU 66°C with Metro Exodus Enhanced.

It keeps things cool. Not liquid metal cool, but close, and safe
I used liquid metal on my laptop and it was great until I took it to work and because of the laptop moving in its bag, the GPU TOASTED itself on a short circuit caused by the liquid metal spreading. Thank god, the GPU was ok after removing the liquid metal, and I bought this to replace it. With the liquid metal, I was idlying at 40-50°C, and running games like Genshin at the highest settings at °80. With this, I'm at 50-60°C, with the same game at 80-90°C. Impressive for a laptop that couldn't run it at Normal settings without stuttering with the stock thermal paste, nearing 95-99°C (although to its credit, it was a couple of years old).

Poor QC
I bought two tubes of this and the first one was really bad ,hard to spread and it's too dry. After used the whole tube, I tried another one , and its good and easier to spread.

The best thermal paste
It’s very compact and ridged, cause almost 0 mess, and is very easy to apply. The performance is very very good, and from all the paste i’ve used this one has by far been the best.

Excelente
Es una gran pasta (o gel en este caso), su contenedor facilita mucho la aplicación y su rendimiento es genial. Lo recomiendo ampliamente, creo que puede durar al menos 4 aplicaciones.

Thick stuff for warm laptops
Performance laptops get too warm for normal thermal paste. The heat liquefies it and causes something called a "pump-out effect". Basically heatsink pressure will push lighter paste out to the sides and will require a premature reapplication.

worked Wonder for me
I have a 2015 15-inch i5-5200U laptop and I started getting hot, idle temp= 47 but the load temp touches 94' degrees. after application of this new paste the idle temp=42 but the load temp max is 78... so my advice is to go for it
