Professional quality!
I use to own a very inexpensive set of these that I purchased from HF but after I found myself using them more and more I figured it was time for an upgrade. This SK ratchet is light years better than the junk I was using! It is in fact a 60 tooth design and is extremely smooth to operate. I was apprehensive about spending what I did for such a simple tool but it is definitely worth every penny! Made in America and not a doubt in my mind it will last a lifetime.

Functionality of thumb ratchet is great.
Item description was right on the money. Works great no problem with either size. Now i have 1/4" and 3/8" Thumb ratchet.

High quality
This ratchet met my high expectations from SK. While I haven't used it quite enough to speak on its durability just yet, it definitely feels solid. It holds sockets on very tight, but not so tight that I have to pry them off with a screwdriver. I took a star off because, while the finish is really nice, mine came with a small stain on the socket side of the chrome that I was able to mostly wipe away with rubbing alcohol but not entirely (but considering this thing is just gonna get dirty and scratched anyway, it's not a big deal). The knurling is also pretty weak as other reviews have stated. This surprised me since my other SK ratchets have a pretty aggressive knurling to them. One last thing to note: I almost didn't buy this because in the description it states that it has 36 teeth, which. But I counted and this thing clicks 60 times in one revolution (which I've always assumed that means it has 60 teeth). So unless I'm misunderstood, the description needs to be updated to say 60 teeth (which would probably help sell more since that's one of the first specifications I look at when buying a ratchet).

Recommended - If you can get your hand in there, you can get this in there.
I thought it'd be bigger, but that is my fault. This thing is small (1.5" as in the description). This said, if you can get your hand in to a tight spot, this little guy should fit as well. I looked it up in SK Tools catalog and as previously mentioned it is a 60 tooth ratchet. This is even more of a bonus for tight areas where you can't get much movement. The design gives it a nice smooth turn. Couple it with magnetic sockets and it'll take a fair amount of aggravation out of a job. If you did manage to break it, SK does make a rebuild kit for the unit, but they cost about as much as the ratchet it's self. I hardly see this as an issue as your leverage with this will be limited, and it shares internals with larger 3/8" drive SK ratchets. The picture enclosed shows it between a 3/8" dribe Snap-on Stubby ratchet (FKF80) and a Pittsburgh 3/8" drive extension that is just under 3" long. As I said, it is small, but it'll get in where others can't.
