Perfect fit.
This was a perfect replacement fan for my ASUS F512DA-EB51. The old one started ticking, this one fits exactly like the original and is quiet. Since I had the laptop apart I also redid the thermal compound on the CPU. If you order a new fan, I'd recommend getting some thermal compound at the same time. Old compound on laptops gets hard, brittle and breaks down so it doesn't transfer heat as well as it used to. If your fan goes bad, the compound may get too hot and break down.

Unstable from first use
The fan was unstable (making a knocking noise) from first use. Ordered a different brand.

Spend a little more and get a better one
It's cheap because it's made cheaply. Spend a few more dollars and get one that will last a little longer. I already need to replace it again.

Easy to install
This is a great product that saved me from having to buy a completely new computer. It's easy to install and the price is beyond reasonable. Haven't had any issues since he changed it out.

FAN WIRES TOO SHORT FOR ASUS MODEL M712DA
I had to splice the old fan 4 pin connector and wires to the new fan because the wires are too short on the new replacement fan so if you have this model M712DA this fan will not work unless you cut and solder the old connector to the new wires to lengthen it (its about 2 to 3 inches too short)
