Gloup Original Medication Gel (Strawberry & Banana, 150ml)

My mum suffers with PSP Parkinsons and struggles to take medicine tablets (approx 25 tablets throughout the day), this Gloup has been revolutionary. Taking tablets is now a breeze. I recommend a sip of water before just to wet the mouth and then a tea spoon with a max of 4 tablets depending on their size and then a drink of water once finished to make sure they are properly washed down to the stomach. Honestly this product can't be rated high enough.

“BIG ACHIEVEMENT!” Says my daughter on swallowing two halves of a tablet for the first time in her life. “It’s a mental thing!” The habit of spitting the pill back out has been overcome with the help of gloup immediately followed by a big drink of water and the determination of my daughter who has now had enough of all the fuss if not being able to swallow a simple pill! Thanks gloup + determination + water! She was very pleased! (Four stars because the gloup was a game-changer but not a guarantee - determination, drinks of water and about five attempts were required for the first success, quickly followed by the second half of the gloup-tablet-water. Once you’ve done it once it’s much easier to repeat!)

I tried this gel as my wife has dementia and struggles to swallow whole tables. I’ve tried dissolving tablets in water and juice but crushing the tablets and immersing the powder in this gel works best as I can get two tablets in one spoonful and it’s done! Unfortunately her memantine has too strong a taste for even Gloup to mask!The pump dispenser is awkward to use in our situation so, a large tube of equivalent volume would be a help to us. Also a stronger masking flavour option would be a big help to mask such a horribly strong taste as memantine!

This is brilliant stuff for anybody who struggles taking those powdery type tablets. Especially coming out of the fridge the tablets just slide down with no problems at all.

Doesn’t help at all to take tablets tried with my 12 year old. What a load of rubbish it was and she said it taste nasty too

Had high hopes for this but doesn't work with me unfortunately. Tried several times with different sized tablets and just ended up swallowing the group and not the tablets.2 star as the taste was good.

Kaufte das Gloup für meine Mutter zur Tabletteneinnahme. Sie hat Schwierigkeiten große Tabletten zu schlucken. Mit Gloup rutschten die Tabletten so runter.

Mein Mann hat keine Probleme mehr mit der Tabletten Einnahme, seitdem er diese Gel verwendet.

Unser Sohn 3 muss einmal die Woche eine wirklich große Tablette nehmen. Ohne das Gel war nichts zu machen. Mit dem Gel funktioniert es endlich.Der Geschmack ist im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes Geschmackssache. Ich finde ihn erst zu süß und dann bitter. Mein Sohn stört sich nicht dran.Einziger Verbesserungsvor: es wäre super, wenn das Gel undurchsichtig wäre und man damit die Tablette nicht sehen kann.

Das Produkt ist gut in der Anwendung und erfüllt seinen Zweck. ich ziehe ein Stern ab weil die Geschmacksrichtung Himbeere/Banane doch extrem süß ist

bei meinem Patienten hat es überhaupt nicht gewirkt/geholfen. und wie meine Überschrift schon sagt: Wackelpudding ist nicht viel anders aber bedeutend preiswerter!
