3D Puzzles for Kids Ages 8-10 - London City

I bought this for my son’s school project on Roman culture. He needed to have a prop with his presentation. This worked out so well and you can’t beat it for the price. He still has it in his room to look at. his dad and him put it together so it was a nice way for them to spend time together as well.

This is such an amazing activity for tweens! I wasn't sure what to expect, but I just spent the past hour working on this with my 12 year old and it was such a great experience. The pieces fit together well, it's challenging enough but not frustrating. We can tell already that the final product is going to be study enough to display and he's already cleared a shelf in his room for it! Would definitely recommend this for older kids, or younger with a lot of support.

Although the age range for this puzzle model is 8 - 12 years old, it provided several hours of enjoyment to someone like me who is a mature Roman history enthusiast. At 131 pieces it is challenging enough for even an adult model builder. Now completed, I proudly display it in my living room. I would recommend, however, that the manufacturer of the puzzle use slightly more sturdy card stock for the uprights (pieces 39 and 41) as a number of the pieces require flexing to push into place and the uprights can bend a little too easily with applied pressure. I would also suggest a legend in the instructions to indicate which printed side is indicated as several of the pieces have printing on both sides so determining which side to expose, especially with flexing in both directions indicated in the assembly diagram can be a bit confusing.

Perfect gift for a 7/8 - year old, who likes to build and engage with hands - on activities. I thought the difficulty level, size, instructions, popping out the pieces, and the actual building component were all very appropriate. It was an enjoyable activity for a kid to complete, with only minimal adult support needed. Would recommend to break up the project into 3 - 4 manageable parts. One kid loved that the London Eye actually moved and the other loved the tall skyscrapers in New York .

I am 8 years old. My mom bought this for my birthday and I loved it so much. This should be ten stars. (with an adult to explain how it works, she was able to build it 95% alone in 3-4 hours)

School project looked awesome.

I tried the Queen Anne's Revenge LED pirate ship from cubicfun and liked the idea, but had to abandon it due to difficulty. The Notre Dame one can be done in an afternoon and is less stressful, so if you have a kid I would recommend it. That being said, I'm probably not gonna get another one due to the same issues. It's kind of hard to regift and simply put, some of the parts just seem to be designed to give fits (hello Mr. Invisible Tape!). Other than that, it was a fun way to kill an afternoon. Instructions are easy enough, it's not pricey, and it still looks pretty cool when you're done.

Las instrucciones muy claras y el diseño súper bonito, armarlo se disfruta muchísimo. Solo por favor avisar desde el principio que viene con una herramienta para ayudar a hacer los agujeros, la descubrí al final jaja.
