Mayari Oily Leather Women's Flip Flops

These are amazing sandals. The first time around I ignored the other reviews and just followed the size chart, which was big mistake and the sandals were way too big (surprise, surprise). I usually wear a US women's size 9 in the regular width so I went with size 40M, which I then exchanged for a size 39M. Luckily it was really easy (and free!) to return these with amazon! After returning for a smaller size, I absolutely love them. The colors, the materials, and the style make this one gorgeous and extremely comfortable pair of sandals. These shoes are also very versatile as you can wear them for anything really and they look and feel great. The style even makes them a great sandal for dressier occasions. They are now my go to spring/summer/fall shoes and I have my eye on another pair in the mocha color. I have a thing for comfortable, properly fitting, and supportive shoes. I also believe that shoes can be overly supportive and can cause the muscles in your feet to weaken and work improperly, which leads to all sorts of problems. Which is why I like rotate through and wear different types of shoes (disclaimer: I also just love quality shoes), in addition to spending a decent amount of time barefoot. Doing this not only makes the muscles in my feet adapt and work hard, keeping them strong, but it helps my shoes last a lot longer. With these shoes though, I just want to wear them all day, every day, that's how comfortable they are. Right out of the box they felt great, no adjustment period necessary, and have they become more comfortable every time I wear them. Everyone is different though and if they don't feel great right away I would encourage you not to give up, but to make sure they are the right size and that straps are as tight as they can (reasonably) be. If uncomfortable, wearing them for small time periods at first can help as it allows your feet to adjust. As your feet adjust and the shoe molds to your foot you may just find that these are like nirvana in sandal form!

My first pair of Birkenstocks! I don't want to take them off. I've tried on other people's (who were my shoe size) but since they mold to your foot, there's nothing like having your own pair to wear in. I loved the mayari style so I was really happy to find them for such a great price, and in the color I wanted! The only thing I was worried about was pain and rubbing around the big toe, where the two straps cross. I don't think it's going to be a problem though. It's the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn! Both the soles and straps are incredibly soft and the sole support feels perfect. I would go bare foot every day if I could, and so I really think this is the next best thing. I feel sad coming home at night cause I have to take them off and put on my fuzzy house slippers! I got the size 39, I typically wear a 9,but can sometimes get away with an 8.5. theres about 1 cm of extra space in the footbed,so I wonder if a 38 would be better next time, however there's no way I'd return these for fit - I'm just so happy with them. ...And a little worried I'm going to develop a very expensive Birkenstock habit! As a side note on the seller/shipper, while the shoes were in perfect condition, the box was in tatters, probably the reason they were selling a bit cheaper? Anyway, it didn't come across as very professional but there was no problem with the actual product.

Shoes are great. I love this style. I’ve had it for 10 years at least. Unfortunately I have to send these back because I forgot to look to see if they were narrow, and they are not there the regular medium width. But there are a great shoe. And the seller was very fast.

These are my favorite type of Bircks. So comfortable and stylish! I have them in several colors and they’re the only shoes that my feet are actually happy in. I’m able to walk long distances with no problem in these and the price is right! They’re so supportive - especially the arch. Highly recommend 10 out of 10.

I love these sandals! I had a pair in college and basically forgot how amazingly comfortable Birks are. So glad to be back in another (more stylish) paid. The Mayari design is gorgeous. Couple of notes: definitely go for the upgraded $30+ to get the real leather. The $95 pairs are all synthetic materials for the straps. Pay the $125 and get the real leather - makes them more comfortable and look so much better. Also, the sizing of birks is very tricky. I wear a size seven and normal width pretty much always. Everyone says size down with Birkenstocks because they run a little big, so I got the size 37 (which should be around a size 6 US), but they are a just a smidge too big. I didn't return them or anything because the Birkenstock site says that you should have a couple of mm of space at the front and back of your sandals for movement. I thought they looked too big, but my daughter said I was crazy and that they fit/looked perfect. I would also note that I have a pretty high arch in my foot and Birks account for that in their design, the support is great for me. But I imagine if someone had a flat foot they may think the high arch support was uncomfortable. For me they are some of the most comfortable sandals you can buy.

A comfortable, cute, favorite shoe that are durable and held up well to daily use throughout the summer. I keep a pair by the door or by my chair to slip on quickly anytime and wear anywhere for all day comfort and style with shorts and sundresses.

Footbed is very comfy! After wearing for a couple of weeks, they have molded very nicely to my feet. I can walk all day, and pretty much as far as I want. The only problem I have had is that the top strap over my arch has started rubbing. The birko-flor lining has pilled. I pulled off the extra fibers the first time, the second time I put a piece of moleskin over it on the inside of the strap. That seems to have taken care of it. Sizewise, I am a full size 8, a little on the wide side. I tried the 38 and the toe ridge hit the ball of my foot if I have the arch in the right place. I got the 39 and it feels SO much better. It is a little long, but as it is molding to my foot it is not too bad. I have not had any trouble with arch, heel or plantar fasciitis pain since I started wearing them.

Er ist und bleibt mein Lieblingsschuh von Birkenstock. Die Verkaufspreise finde ich allerdings mittlerweile eine Frechheit! Früher verpönt und heute Luxus Schlappen?! Im Angebot kaufe ich mir Birkenstocks sehr gerne, weil sie super Qualität haben und entsprechend halten. Aber es ist erschreckend wie in den vergangenen 5 Jahren sich der Preis fast verdoppelt hat. Dennoch mein absoluter Lieblingsschuh neben Fliflops im Sommer.
