Does the job well
Extremely well made! Definitely feels solid enough to trust your life with. Rope feeds extremely easy and catches quickly when necessary. I use this for solo belay with 9.9mm and 10.2mm rope.

Probably the pinnacle of fall arrestors
We tested this unit ourselves by dropping loads of around 300 kg and it was able to reliably stop such falls. We also tested it on thinner, flimsier rope to see if it would damage it; hollow braid propylene of only 6mm worked just fine with this unit. Repeated use does wear down the rope because it is 'biting' into the rope with metal, but you should replace rope after a few falls anyways. The only weird design flaw is that the unit scraps away its own paint on the inside; I don't think this matters because it should not rust.
