Very loud or very quiet, you choose.
Awesome. The ability to call long range or close up is great. It will sound slightly distorted on high volume if you are standing right next to it. From 100yds away it sounds great. Volume control allows quieter calling for close birds. The ability to point it in any direction can fool an old Tom into thinking his girlfriend is leaving. Love it !!

Bought mine from Amazon. Took it out put in battery. Went out side to check it out. Called a fox right into the back yard. Works great. And didn't pay over fifty dollers for it

Works nice but have not called up a coyote with it. Pretty sure I got a response from the neighbors though.

This is loud
This thing is great, it is loud but has a volume on it to turn it down. I used it this past Turkey season and had a few ways off in the distance talking to me because of how loud it is. This is great to have and use along with mouth calls, it gives you the ability to make it sound like there are more than 1 hen out there.

Works fantastic !!
Have used this call for a week now and called in several Coyotes and other predatory animals!!! up close the sound sounds tinny and crackly and not good at all, STAND 100 YARDS AWAY from it PERFECT!! adjust your volume to your surroundings, open stubble fields crank it, the coyotes always call back, in a valley or treed area turn the volume down by half and watch things come alive. A little cumbersome to carry but does the job perfectly ...Alberta Canada

Great caller
Nice and light, easy to store. Was really impressed with the volume of this. My buddy has a cocall and this is much louder. Can't wait to see if I can call out Bullwinkle in the fall
