HumanCentric VESA Mount Adapter Bracket Compatible with Acer Monitor

PLEASE ENSURE IT IS FOR YOUR MONITOR! If you pick the correct one it works amazing! Super sturdy and secure! I ordered 3 for my setups current monitors and they are so simple to install. They fit right into where the original stand/leg detached, and it comes with several screw options to fit your mounting arms.

This is not my first Humancentric VESA Mount adapter. I have one for an older work monitor that works great. It's very sturdy and well-made. It's held up well for a few years now. This mount is similar: it's made of high-quality durable metal. It comes with a stabilizer and everything you need to mount the monitor. I bought this because my new monitor is an Acer SB242Y, which says on the Amazon listing that it's VESA compatible. It's not (though you can jury rig it with a couple of M4-0.7 X 8MM machine screws). It's also not compatible with this mount adapter, unfortunately. Acer SB242Y was not one of the models included in the listing description, but I gave it a shot just in case. Even though it didn't work for my monitor, customer service was friendly, fast, and helpful when I reached out to them with questions. The seller is ethical and the return process was very easy. If you're trying to figure out if this is the right mount for your monitor, you can email Support AT Humancentric DOT com with a photo of your monitor stand clip. Works exactly as stated. Keeps monitor steady, no complaints! I bought a GAS spring arm to replace the original stand so this adapter worked perfectly to facilitate that.

The mount seems very stable and well made. I did have a hard time with the screws, but had extras of the same size and installed with no difficulty (provided screws may be cheaper quality). One thing to beware if you're mounting this on a dual monitor system with fixed heights. Standard mounts (as seen on the left of my picture) do not line up height wise with this conversion mount (on the right). If you're planning on purchasing a dual arm mount as well, I would suggest one that has variable heights on either side. Also another thing to note is that the bracket pushes the monitor out about 3 inches. This space is required to maintain adequate strength, but again doesn't line up well with a standard monitor using the Vesa system. Overall the product seems very stable, even without using the additional screw and pad provided.

Exactly what I was looking for, I purchased this for the Acer model SB230 manufactured in Sept. 2018. At first I wasn’t sure it was the right one because I was confused on how to take the stand it came with off, but once I discovered after a quick Google search that there are plastic retaining clips that need to be pushed in to slide the metal part of the base mount off things went much more smoothly. The stabilizer attachment has been great too, keeps my monitor from wobbling all over the place when my cat jumps on the desk. Perfect fit, easy install and great quality.

The hardest part of the installation was fitting this bracket to the monitor! Gently, but firmly slide into monitor. Be careful as tolerances are ⁷very tight. Make sure it's all the way in!!! Once it's connected to the monitor, mount it to the arm of your choice with the same 100 x 100 VESA pattern! Works well and was easy to install!!! Very well made!!!

Used it on my cheap SB220Q bi since it didn't have that mounting system needed to be attached to monitor arms. It works perfectly with my set up. Only issue with this that I see is that you are not able to turn the monitor sideways as the mount isn't directly screwed onto the monitor. If you try this, good chance your monitor will slide out. Not a problem for me though since I have mine right side up.

I have a monitor that did not come with VESA mount holes. My eyesight is such that moving the monitor is easier than finding the perfect distance to sit from the screen to see clearly. Thankfully this product exists to convert my monitor so it can be used with a monitor arm. Any complaint about the quality really hinges on ACER. VESA is a very sturdy system when it’s built into the monitor. This adapter does its best to add a VESA option to a monitor that didn’t come with it. So, DO NOT try to adjust the monitor as you would one with built in VESA mounts. This uses the existing mount of the monitor, which is potentially more fragile. So, grab the monitor from both sides and gently move it to the desired position. Don’t grab from one side and yank because all that force will hit the solitary point where the adapter attaches to the monitor. Aside from the above, it is a quality product and well worth the cost. Certainly cheaper than going out to buy a new monitor with VESA mounts built in.

Works great with my Acer monitor and my adjustable arm. Would not use it at 90 angle, as it's a push fit and might fall out. But monitor in landscape is fine.

Works well with my Acer G227HQL, i guess i'll have to be cautious when manipulating the screen because the metal pieces of the adapter are welded!

I used two of these to mount my Acer G257HL screens, Installed quickly and easily and fit perfectly> The ywere alo supplied with optional stabilisers to helps keep the screens rigid on the mount.
