Fisherman Eyewear 14AO Original Polarized Sunglasses

I just ordered my third pair of these. They are my favorite sunglasses, and I have tried many. I work in Afghanistan, and while I should probably be using ballistic lenses (these are not), these fit me so well, and wrap around my face in such a way that they keep out dust that other more expensive, purpose built, sunglasses do. They are also cheap enough that they are easily replaced. Besides not offering the highest level of physical protection, they suit my needs better than any others I have tried.

These sunglasses are great as far as being polarized, but I had two issues: there are rubber inserts on the ends of the temples (ear pieces) which constantly caught my hair and generally pulled it enough to drive me nuts; and the frames wrapped closely so that my eyelashes rubbed the lenses. If you have very short hair and eyelashes, these glasses will work for you. They're well-constructed, and while the rubber inserts didn't work for me, they did provide the benefit of keeping the glasses in place.

I'm a big fan of Maui Jim's. Unfortunately, I keep losing them. Which is unfortunate because I'm too poor to keep buying them and now I'm spoiled on polarized sunglasses. I won't wear anything else. This is a great pair, easily worth 2-3 times the price. It's good quality and the lenses are great quality. It's definitely not Maui Jim quality, but I would say it's on par with other sunglasses I've spend $60 on. We'll see if it lasts, but for the price, I'd be okay with having to buy another pair in a few months.

I needed to replace my old polarized fishing sunglasses since I broke one of the arms off. Took a gamble ordering these without being able to try them on of course, but they fit me well. No pressure against my ears, temples or the bridge of my nose. Look really nice too. Not bulky and not alien or bug eye looking. Gloss black frame with pretty dark smoke lens looks sharp. Nice clarity while driving. They don't black out my instrument gauges like some crappy non-polarized shades tend to do.

For the price I'm not sure that there is anything better out there! This is my second pair, first pair flew off my boat when I had them sitting on top of my hat. I'm a big guy and I like these because they fit my big head just right and they are good shades for fishing at a good price.

I like them because they are polarized and the price is good. One thing I don't like is one side of them is to close to my eye. My eyelash touches the lens. Other than that, I would recommend them and would purchase another pair.

Very poor product! This is the second pair I had from the same brand. The first one I used rarely because I lived abroad in a colder country so I used it only in the summer months. One day the top frame just broke. I did not drop the glasses or anything. Recently I moved back to my hometown (it is always sunny here) so I bought another pair. Less than two weeks in use and it broke! Same spot and I did not drop it!

Very utilitarian. I guess I do need a bit more fashionable frames. These do what they're supposed to do. No glare what so ever. If you're looking for sun protection on the cheap look no further.
