WamBam Sturbridge Yard or Pool Fence, White Vinyl No Dig DIY Kit | 4ftH x 6ftW, 1 Panel + 1 Post, BL19103

I’m using this as a fence around my garden to keep my three Siberian Huskies out. The quality of the material is excellent. I have clay soil so pounding the steel posts was easy, if pounding posts 32” into the ground can be easy. I initially started with a 10# sledgehammer for 1’, checked to plumb and used a post pounder for the remaining 2’. The process of setting the posts, brackets, top and bottom rails, balusters, assembling and installing the gate is technically simple and the instructions are easy to follow. I used a total of 8 panels and 1 gate and had to cut 3 of the lengths because of the odd size of my garden. A hacksaw with a fresh, sharp blade did the job. I am very pleased with the finished fence. Now, for some advice. Lay out and carefully measure the project dimensions. I strongly advise using a post pounder. It took me about 10 hours over 3 days to complete and I was meticulous about plumb and level.

We had almost 200 feet of this installed in our yard. Both my husband and the gentleman that helped us said this is a brilliant product, well thought out and engineered, super easy to install, and revolutionary for fencing. I just love how it looks and how sturdy it is. Plus, we paid about 1/3 less compared to quotes we got for similar fencing from local fencing companies. We highly recommend the product.

The directions are very poor. They say to lift the donut off the pole, but it isn't big enough to fit over the top of the pole. One set of directions says that a post driver is the best tool to use, but they don't mention that the diameter of the driver needs to be at least three inches. I ruined one of the levelers because I used a smaller driver. (The directions in the finishing post do warn that the diameter needs to be at least three inches.) I never did figure out how to use the leveler. The video on the website was not at all helpful. If there is a helpful video on the website, it is must be hidden.I got the fence up and working with a few minor problems. Even though I thought I knew where to measure from and to to install the finishing post, I put it about a quarter inch too far from the first post. I used a sledge hammer to install it. I wish the fence had the same directions as the finishing post, though neither is good for a sometime diyer. I had to drill new holes in the brackets to get the bottom rail secured.Aside from all of the difficulties that I experienced putting up the fence, it serves the purpose I bought it to do. It is being used as a handrail at the back entry to my house. It is less expensive and, I think, no harder to install than an actual handrail, which would have required drilling into the concrete steps. The fence sits beside the steps and is close enough to act as a guardrail.

I had my doubts about this fence but I'm pretty happy with the results. Easy enough. I recently fenced in a portion of my back yard for my Australian cattle dog, George. George need a lot of exercise. He plays games inside the fence with large herding balls and if the fence can handle that, it can handle anything I can imagine short of thermonuclear war. I installed several six foot sections, a gate, and some extra posts. Assembly was much easier than expected.I called WamBam several times with questions and about a broken part. And with so many orders of heavy items, you might expect more problems. Customer support was over the top excellent! They sent the replacement part right away and they provided lots of advice over the telephone. They answered ever question with information that made sense to me. All the advice I took worked perfectly.If you feel like putting up a fence yourself, this is the product you want to buy!

When installing bottom bracket I screwed into the leveling donut, I had to remove and raise it up to avoid drilling into it. Careful.

I ordered 11 panels, 2 extra posted and a gate to enclose my patio area. I wanted a protected area for my dogs to be while outside. My husband and I are in our 60's so building it was a little bit more involved than we expected. With a little help, it turned out great. I'm happy, my dogs are happy, and my husband gets to spend more time outside with them. My husband did suggest that listing the screw sizes in the instructions might be helpful. My husband had to call in for technical support and replacement parts a few times . He was helped with his questions very quickly and the few replacement parts we needed were sent to us without question. I would use this product again, and I would suggest it to others.

Les pieux sont super facile à installer vertivaux avec une masse. Cependant le terrain doit être plat. Produit de bonne qualité.
