I love this product and I cannot live without it. This face wash is super gentle (I am saying that as someone who has broken out after using many other facewashes in the past), and I love the way it feels on my skin (it makes me feel fresh and clean!). The cream doesn't have much of a smell (just kind of smells like cream, if that makes sense). After using this for the past five months, my skin has never looked better! I try to keep my skincare to a minimum, but this has become an essential part of my routine. I have struggled with acne for years, and it is hard to find that one product that ends up working for you, but this one was it for me. I use it every night after I take off my makeup. I apply a small drop to each part of my face, scrub it all around, and rinse with warm water. Then I put on a retinal cream and moisturizer. This routine has kept me close to acne free for the past five months. I also want to say that I was surprised by the amount of product you get for the price. I am so used to expensive acne products that only last a month or two, but I have been using this for five months and have barely made a dent in the bottle. I definitely recommend using this if you have been in search of something simple and affective.

I really liked this. It helped clear up an acne flare up without overly drying. It foams up just a little bit when you wash, nice smooth texture. My skin felt pretty moisturized after using it which isn’t always the case with acne wash products.

Love this thumbs up great great for an everyday cleansers that's not overly drying or harsh on sensitive skin. I suffer from cystic acne so it's really hard to find anything that works besides accutane. But I can use this still while I'm on it and it doesn't overly dry out my skin.

I’ve purchased CeraVe’s Acne Fighting Cream Cleanser with Benzoyl Perixide several times for myself & my teenage Son. I have acne prone skin I have under control but at times blackheads begin to appear on my nose. One night of applying this cleanser the next morning they’re barely visible! My Son has battled acne more widespread. This has been a heaven sent for him. He cleanses his face morning & night with this & it has made a HUGE difference with his acne.There’s not much battling anymore period. What was widespread is now minimal. The benzoyl peroxide truly kills any acne forming or acne that has formed on his face. His face is clearer now with little new acne forming. I knew this was a strong cleanser so we slowly introduced it to his skin. He has fairly sensitive skin so we began with once a day. Moisturizing right after is a DEFINITE! This tightens up your face which is then in need of a good moisturizer. CeraVe has 2 great moisturizers to combine with this cleanser. There is little scent to it. It comes out more watery vs. other cleansers. I/we let it sit for about 1 minute to let it truly to its job. Since this is a harsher facial ingredient I never mix it with a retinol. The 2 will create extreme dryness with irritation. I learned the hard way. A gentle moisturizer is best to use only after using this. I will use it at night only because I have a skin regime in the morning which wouldn’t allow me to use this. What I love about CeraVe’s product line is they come with the 3 essential ceramides, hyaluronic acid & niacinamide~2 wonderful ingredients for our skin. If you’re battling acne this cleanser is definitely worth purchasing. Be aware this will leave markings on colored wash cloths & towels~ due to the benzoyl peroxide. For all this offers the price is really amazing because this 5 ounce tube/bottle does have longevity to it because you don’t need much to cover your face. This doesn’t foam up. With a little water it’s more like a layer you apply to your skin. I see it more as a treatment for a female. This will not remove makeup ladies. I use CeraVe’s Hydrating Micellar Water to cleanse my face before using this. For my Son he can get away with just using this to cleanse his face. We both have gentle silicone scrubbers to help work it into our skin. I hope my personal experience helps you decide if this is for you. A trusting name with a specific purpose. It’s worth the buy!

I will tell you all, this stuff works, although it bleaches some of your washcloths it shows results in about 2 months and almost completely gone after 3 I will continue to buy this stuff forever not too harsh in skin and my skin is now shiny and acne healing thanks cerve.

I had a bunch of tiny tiny bumpy clogged pores on my jawline and this cleared them up in about 2 weeks time. I know for sure it was this product because I stopped using it briefly when I lost it on vacation and didn’t buy it again right away. I noticed the bumpy clogged pores came back, so I bought it again and my face is perfect again after a few weeks of using it again. I think the acne I had was like super tiny closed comedones.

Gentle yet effective. I use twice per day - let it sit for about 2 min before washing. I've applied ceramide cream afterwards to avoid dryness. My moderate acne and redness have calmed down after only a few days of usage.

Mi cara es muy grasosa y con tendencia a acné y este limpiador ha sido milagroso. Ahora solo me sale uno o dos granitos antes de mi periodo ya. Recomiendo solo usarlo en la noche para que no reseque tanto y al momento de aplicarlo déjalo en la cara 2 o 3minutos a que actúe antes de enjuagarlo. Veo que hay gente que le funcionó inmediatamente, a mi me tomó aproximadamente un mes en ver los beneficios pero definitivamente ya no lo cambiaría por nada. En la mañana solo me lavo la cara con agua o un jabón suave para no sobre secarla.
