Ultrassist Suture Practice Kit with 14 Pre-Cut Wounds, Silicone Pad & Tools

This was a great buy. Me and my daughter who is a surgeon and I'm in school for Medical Assistant both found it useful and a good value for money. This is exactly what my lab at school uses too. Made us both better at surgical techniques. Definitely a good buy for practicing suturing.

my high school daughter got this to practice surgery as part of a summer vet camp and it did a great job! The only problem she reported is that it would leave small rips towards the edges and left marks from holes. Other than that it did a great job holding up, it came with great equipment, and it a great practice tools to use! The tools were good quality along side the thread and needle. They came connected and help up very well with a long length! And it worked very well for beginners or people with more experience learning to suture.

This is a really great kit!

The kit is great, especially for the price. Unfortunately, the skin pad isn't as durable as I was hoping. The needles keep slicing through the skin, limiting how close I can get to the "scar" which is of course, one of the reasons why you practice is to get closer and closer to the edges. Overall, it allows for simple practice, would just love a tougher skin with future editions.

Our 7 y.o. granddaughter is absolutely certain that she's going to be a veterinarian. This inexpensive kit allowed her to practice suturing the fake cut on fake skin. Yes, she got pretty good. The tools are of lower quality, but work. In 15 years or so when she tries to sew in a real vet school setting, it will be easier.

Not going to open because it is a gift.
