This is my first time ever writing a review on Amazon and I’m doing so because of the phenomenal results I have had with this product. I am a man in my early 60's and I was having problems with my knee. I walk for exercise on my "off days" when I not riding my bicycle or going to the gym. My knee was irritated and slightly swollen which was causing me pain while walking and bike riding. I have been taking glucosamine for years and it was a game changer when I started taking it years ago. It smoothed over the joint pain I had experienced for years. But, for months I had knee pain and nothing I did would alleviate the pain I experienced during walking or bike riding. I even quit riding and walking for a few weeks to see if the affected knee would heal, which it didn't. While talking to my brother about my knee pain which was causing me so much distress, he told me about Turmeric and its inflation fighting characteristics. He cautioned me that he had tried turmeric that he purchased from a vitamin and supplement store in the mall and told me that it caused him diarrhea but otherwise had worked well for him reducing joint pain. I researched Turmeric on the internet and found that "purity" and “strength” is everything when purchasing Turmeric. Ultimately, I ran across Dr Tobias's product and read raving reviews which caused me to purchase the product. WOW! What a difference Dr Tobias’s Turmeric has made in my life! Within a couple of days of taking Turmeric, my knee pain completely went away! This was a big deal for me because I am a very active person and the problem I was having with my knee was seriously affecting my lifestyle. Also, I have never experienced any stomach upset, gas, or diarrhea like many other people mention when using other Turmeric products. I have been taking this product for about 1-year now and I will continue to take this product daily for the difference it makes in my life. I have recommended this product to many people and everyone that has tried it has had similar results. Bottom line… This is a quality product and I highly recommend that you give it a try!

I've been using this for over 3 weeks now, and the first and most important thing to share is that my hip pain -- which had been chronic and increasing due to arthritis -- is noticeably and significantly less than it was before starting this product! I am pretty active, and was just putting up with the pain or treating it with ibuprofen when it got too bad. As an example, I would take a Zumba class on Monday evening, and knew that I would pay for it for the next 48 hours, often even having to limp if I had much walking to do the next day or two (just shopping in Fred Meyer for half an hour would cause this). I didn't want to take constant ibuprofen, being concerned about long-term liver damage that could occur. Now I take just 1 of the Dr. Tobias' capsules each day now and I have not had any limping issues -- not even once! I am often 100 percent free of pain -- or have a pain level of maybe just 1 or 2, versus often 5 or 6 before! And I have not had to take any ibuprofen at all for my hip issues since starting this regimen. By the way, I am somewhat of a skeptic about supplements, so I wouldn't be giving this review if it didn't do something tangible for me. Limp/no limp? That's tangible. Secondly: On advice of my massage therapist I had grabbed a bottle of turmeric with pepper from a local store a month before, prior to really researching the subject in any depth. It did help some, but not dramatically. I then read up about turmeric on some reputable web sites, and came to realize that the product I had bought did not have a very high level of the 95% curcuminoids, which is the most important ingredient. So I looked at 2-3 dozen products on Amazon, and studied the actual ingredient list of every one. Dr. Tobias was the clear winner based on 750 mg of the 95% extract and the price, which is very affordable per dose. (I only found one other product that came in second place with 500 mg, which was Nature's Way -- no other products that I looked at even came close to these two. Of course, I could find products with less of the 95% extract, but they wanted you to take 3 of them per day, significantly increasing your daily cost.) A bonus: my order came with a coupon for a free bottle as a first-time user -- I don't know what size bottle it'll be, but hey, it's free! I have now ordered product for my husband, who has different pain issues so I can't comment yet on whether it will be effective for him. But we have high hopes!

Definitely helps with joint inflammation and inflammation related to digestion. I feel it is a quality supplement compared to other turmeric ones I have tried. Update 6/15/2022: I recently stopped taking this for a few days. I was surprised to start developing problems with asthma again after not having issues for years. When I started looking into it, I found turmeric helps reduce inflammation in the airways (not sure why I didn’t make that connection) and mucus secretions associated with asthma. I started taking it years ago to assist with management of symptoms associated with my autoimmune disease and am fully appreciating the benefits even more now. 5/13/2025: Started getting slightly higher LFTs (ALT and AST) along with right upper quadrant pain. Read studies where long term turmeric supplementation can cause this. Started reducing by pouring out half a capsule daily for the last week. Right upper quadrant pain is decreasing. Am having more allergy related symptoms since decreasing turmeric dose, but RUQ pain is less. Not sure if correlation = causation here but still worth noting. Side note: Turmeric is considered a mast cell stabilizer. But like all supplements and medications, dose is key. Too much can cause problems. Too little isn’t therapeutic. Find what works well for you and don’t be afraid to test and see if it’s truly helpful or a hindrance in your journey for improved health.

It was recommended by my doctor to use turmeric as an anti-inflammatory as I had a bad reaction to the prescription one he gave me. I hunted on Amazon for the one that seemed to have the best reviews, not just the best star score. I read both good and bad reviews before choosing this product. Although, my doctor told me 500mg twice a day I figured a bit higher would be okay. I wanted one that would work. It is helping with the inflammation of my torn ligaments, although, it is NOT helping with the pain, but I did not expect it too. I supposed the reduction in the swelling sometimes reduces the pain,but there are days I have to take something with it to help. The capsules are a bit bigger than I had hoped, but I am dealing with it. I cannot say it is world changing, but it DOES work better than the prescription I was originally given. I looked up studies of how it helps and realized that it was helping me be a slightly better mood. So instead of feeling slightly depressed, I am feeling slightly happy. The change was so small that I would not have noticed it if I had not read that it could do it. I had taken for a week at the time. There are still days it does not seem to work.... but that minor change is interesting. I cannot tell you if it works for all they other things it is supposed to, but as an anti-inflammatory it works for me. I read that Turmeric is Fat-Soluble, so for those of you who it does not work on, try taking it with a meal with a high fat content, or at least a higher one than veggies. Take it with a hamburger, or something. I have not tested (or in reality paid attention) if it really makes a big difference, but perhaps for someone it is not working well with, it may be an option.

Well I've been reading about Turmeric for a long time. I ordered this mainly for it's cancer preventing abilities and heart/vascular system health. However I've had pain in the tops of my feet for a few years now. Never really told the doctor about it. Hurts if I touch the top of my feet, scratch them, wear tight shoes, etc. Just kind of lived with it, figured it was from years of playing football, getting my ankles/feet taped tightly, wearing laced up cleats, getting my feet stepped on, etc.. Took just one pill and wasn't even thinking about my feet (again didn't buy this for that purpose and wasn't even thinking about that). While I was laying down in bed I had a itch on the top of my foot. I cringed because even if I use my other foot to scratch it, it always hurts. So scratched my foot and was like what the heck, no pain??? My feet have hurt every single day for years now and after 1 pill I was feeling no pain. Got out of bed and check top of my feet and also noticed no inflammation. Usually the area around my tendons on tops of my feet has some slight swelling. That was gone too. I'm so shocked and pleasantly surprised. This stuff really works.

I started using this product 2 months ago primarily because I had read research papers (ncbi & holistic health based) about the synergy of taking Turmeric with Resveratrol to help Auto immune and/or inflammatory disorders. I also knew that the effectiveness of Turmeric / Curcumin depended greatly on the quality and the delivery. I chose Dr Tobias because of the purity, strength and the Bioperine (pepper) which helps the absorption. I take it with Life Extension brand Resveratrol, one pill of each per day. After about 3/4 weeks I definatley noticed a difference and have continued to see improvements that I can only attribute to this combination. I have always been a fan of turmeric in cooking, using it in meat rubs and sauces but the Dr T strength is what made a difference for me. I take a lot of health supplements but take them on trust that they are helping or are insurance for the future as rarely do I notice a difference. It is an expensive supplement for me so i hope i can continue but I was feeling desperate when I found this and now feel very hopeful and positive. I will add I am a general consumer and now a fan and do not work for this company.

I liked the fast shipping and bottle arrived just as pictured. I didn't notice anything big as far as differences before vs after, but possibly a slight improvement. This is fine with me since I am not looking for a drastic reaction, just an extra bit of help for my joints. I am pleased and WAS going to order more to keep it in my system, however here is what made me question the company behind this product. Inside each package, I've ordered more than one, there is a large card advertising a book and on the other side is advertising "Receive a FREE Bottle", "as a gesture of appreciation" and goes on to explain the exact website address to get it. IT DOESN'T EXIST!!! I have tried multiple times to find this website by typing it in exactly as it is printed and also by searching for any such site in general, nothing is EVER found. THIS SCREAMS SHADY BUSINESS!!!! For this reason, I do not feel safe ordering anymore from this company and will order elsewhere with trustworthy information provided by the company it's from. I need trustworthiness for things I put in my body.
