Used these to test well water while doing a shock treatment. Super handy, rather than burning my nose trying to decide if I did or did not smell chlorine, just hit the water with test strips both for confirming chlorine and verifying chlorine levels dropping when clearing water. I did switch over to spa test strips at the very end to get the 4 ppm or lower levels.

My wife insists I clean the birdbath with bleach. Then she worries I didn't get all the bleach out and will poison birds, cats, squirrels and everyone else that drinks from the birdbath. Enter test strips. I swish it around and show it to her that negligible bleach was detected in the birdbath and the city drinking water in the pipes show a very light positive per normal.
