TruSkin Peptide Eye Cream Gel for Dark Circles, 0.5 fl oz

I am 46 years old and began using the TruSkin products about 10 months ago, but I saw results somewhere between 30-60 days. Please give the product some time to see fantastic results. I suffered from severe acne during my late teens and early twenties and so now have acne scars. As I aged and my skin began to lose elasticity, etc, the appearance of the scars became worse. During a consultation with a plastic surgeon he suggested that the first thing I should try is to improve the overall health of my skin and that would in turn improve the appearance of the scarring. I spent a long time doing a lot of research about what would work best (Vitamin C, Vit E, Green tea, etc.) and looking for something reasonably priced and not full of toxic chemicals. I decided to try TruSkin Vitamin C Serum. I think the thing that kept me coming back for more was the very positive experience I had with the company from the start. I received a helpful and informative email from Erica. It was not pushy. It was encouraging. She encouraged me to try another 30 days of the serum and if I was not happy with my results I would be refunded. I decided to go with my gut and trust that this would be a positive experience. 60 days in (actually, sooner) I could absolutely see an improvement. I am now using not only the C SERUM, but the HA SERUM, the EYE GEL, the C MOISTURIZER CREAM, and the RETINOL MOISTURIZER every day, twice a day. To clarify, I use the C Moisturizer in the morning and the Retinol Moisturizer at night, everyday. I do not use both of those twice per day. Also, a few times a week, I use the TEA TREE CLEAR SKIN SERUM and the C-PLUS SUPER SERUM. I don't think they are meant for daily use. I tone with organic witch hazel twice a day as my first step, and as my final step, twice a day, after everything has had a chance to absorb, I finish with organic Argan or Apricot Kernel Oil. I am very diligent. Maybe once a week I may not do my nightly regimen if I am super tired. I think that it's important to be consistent. Because I use so many of the products I can't say for sure which of them may be the most helpful or if it is the combination of all of them, but I see a significant improvement in my skin and I have received compliments, which I think is the true tell. My skin looks smooth and my pores are significantly smaller. The fine lines and wrinkles are diminished. The overall appearance and health of my skin has vastly improved and because of that, the appearance of the acne scarring has improved. I know that nothing is going to make the scars go away. I just wanted an improvement and that is what I have seen. I also feel that I look younger and that is a bonus! I would not hesitate to recommend any of these products to anyone. As I mentioned, the customer service is also amazing. Erica has been extremely responsive and also proactive in reaching out, which is so refreshing. She seems to genuinely care about my experience and satisfaction. So thankful for TruSkin :)

I'm really in love with this eye gel!. As with everything TruSkin, there is now doubt that you will receive a quality product that works. I incorporated this product about a year after I started using the Vitamin C (January 2016). I will have to check my order date to confirm the correct date. I considered using it because even though I was getting awesome results from the use of my Truskin Vitamin C, around my eyes were still relatively dark and I am prone to have puffiness if I don't get enough sleep. The formula is thick , gel - like but non greasy with mild scent. I normally, cleans, tone, apply serum and then apply this gel under and over my eye lids. You only need one pump of the gel to apply on both eyes. Two pumps if you are greedy. If you apply too much you need to give it a little time to dry before you proceed to put on your moisturizer and make up. Another benefit is that it contains hyaluronic acid, vitamin E and it is 75% organic. Plus, it contains No Parabens, No GMO's, NO Alcohol, No Fillers, and is Fragrance-Free so it is very safe to use especially in an area as sensitive as the eyes. I started doing my happy dance at about week 4 after using this product twice a day. On my first day, after a long night, I applied it and my eyes instantly felt refreshed and tightened. By that time, my dark circles were about 45%. The inner part of your eye is the area I find most hard to disappear but not to worry because it was about 90% percent gone by the end of March. After that, I started to use it only once per day and now I use it sparingly since the bottle is just about to finish. If you use it twice per day I, the bottle lasts about 5months tops. Either way, it spreads out evenly to about 2 bottles per year so I find it quite affordable. the bottle is small because it is only 1oz but it surely goes a long way. This is indeed a product to incorporate as a part of your regular beauty routine. It will not disappoint. If you care much about your skin health and appearance and want to keep the signs of aging at bay, I dare you to give this product a try. Besides, you have 3 months to get your money back if you are dissatisfied!

ORIGINAL REVIEW (1 STAR): With all its positive reviews, my single star probably won't count for much, but I haven't been able to get the pump to work, and have been slowly destroying the package trying to get at the gel inside. It is such a complicated package that it won't even slice open with a utility knife! What a waste of money. I have no idea if the product itself is any good. UPDATE: TruSkin Naturals contacted me after discovering my one-star and was very apologetic & conciliatory. They sent me their new larger sized container to make up for the inconvenience, and some other marketing materials. Having finally tried the gel, I can't say that I can tell a big difference between some others that I've liked, but I like it just fine, and the customer service is great! The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the new package is too fussy, too, and I suspect I'll be fighting my way into it to get every last bit of goodness out of the container. Why not just have a simple pot with a screw-on/off top?

It seems to take the darkness away. However, the puffiness under the eyes and wrinkles seem about the same. Being realistic though, that is probably too much to expect. It is a good moisturizer at least, so it has some benefits.

I have been a long time user of a high end 'sort of natural' skin care line for years. I was happy with my skin, but not the price tag or 'extra' ingredients and when I was about to reorder a bunch of products I decided to look for something new. I saw the guarantee for TruSkin and that the customer service was excellent and I was VERY impressed with the ingredients and even more impressed by what the products did NOT have so I ordered pretty much one of everything. I LOVE IT! I was hoping that it would at least come close to my other skin care and save some money, but my skin actually looks BETTER than before and my makeup goes on very smoothly and never balls up like it did before. I wake up with super soft skin that isn't greasy and I have seen a difference in tone and fine lines in just a week of use. And the customer service is amazing! Shortly after I started using the products I found out that I was expecting and to be on the safe side I avoid retinol products during pregnancy. When I sent an email to the company, Erica replied shortly after and offered to refund my money for all of the retinol containing products! I can tell you that I have found my skin care for life and I will be telling all of my friends and family about these products. All fantastic ingredients! I am alternating this and the cream and my eyes are noticeable less puffy and lines are smoother. Amazing gel! I LOVE that it is in a pump and you don't have to dip your fingers in it! Easy to get the right amount.

It would be a negative star rating if it were possible. After following instructions, doing a skin test on my wrist, I patted product under my eye on clean dry skin. Within 15-20 minutes, eyes started to itch. Wiped product off with hypoallergenic cleaner immediately. It was unfortunately too late. My eyes started to burn. Flushed my eyes with bottled water. The next day I woke up with my eyelids swelled shut with no field of vision. An ER visit and 2 ophthalmology specialists later, my vision still has not fully returned. Product damaged 100% of my corneas both eyes and caused lesions to 40-60% of my eyes at a deeper level. Healing with “bandage contacts” and otr medications. It so far has cost me 1000s in medical care in addition to not being able to drive myself & having to take PTO from work. Please do not use this product! I am going on 50y/o and have never left a negative review in my life. This experience has been the most painful thing I have experienced in addition to losing any useful vision for several days. Am expected to fully recover vision but it has been a scary and expensive journey that I dont want anyone else to have to go through.

I really appreciate what this eye gel has done for the wrinkles around my eyes. The wrinkles have not gone away, but they are much softer looking. They don't seem as deep -- I don't know if the gel has actually smoothed them out a bit or if it's an optical illusion. Either way, I am happy with the effect! Here's a tip: My first bottle seemed like it didn't last very long -- that's because I was fully depressing the pump each time and getting way more gel than I needed for around my eyes. I had actually seen where other reviewers warned about this. But I kept forgetting until AFTER I had fully depressed the pump AGAIN! After blasting through the first bottle, I decided this eye gel was a little pricey for the short time that it lasted and decided to try something else. After about two applications of the other product, I realized the results were NOT as good as the results I was getting with the TruSkin eye gel. I ordered another bottle of the TruSkin eye gel and really made an effort to be more mindful about the amount I was dispensing. Depressing the pump halfway or less gives me all the gel I need for both eyes. Already, the second bottle has lasted more than twice as long as the first one, and it's not empty yet. Now I have developed a new habit of only partially depressing the pump, and it's working out great. I really like these pump bottles that I'm seeing on more and more products, but I wish the plastic was at least partially transparent so I could see how much of the product is remaining in the bottle. It would help with knowing when to reorder. I have tried several of the products in the TruSkin line and have been happy with every one of them.

I'll start off by noting that the video showing the "lack of product" is false as I checked the moment I bought this and it was full. I've been trying various skincare products over the past year and a half for my upcoming wedding, so I tried this line along with some very expensive / popular ones (Rodan + Fields, Proactiv, Oil of Olay, and a few others). I first tried only the toner and serum and noticed an improvement straight away as I still have adult acne and fine lines (I'm 40 years old). I stopped using it when it was finished and tried other brands, but none could match up to how my skin looked so I went back. The second time I also purchased the cleanser, lotions (I use the Vitamin C heavy one during the day and the Retinol at night) and eye cream, and using all together has been the best results. My skin doesn't have the oil problems I used to, my acne is nearly gone, and my fine lines are noticeably smaller. I also started using it on my neck/chest area and noticed that my sun spots on my chest (I was very bad in my 20s with tanning beds) are noticeably lighter. When you use the Vitamin C items you will notice some drying / tightness but that's your skin adjusting (and it wasn't that painful or uncomfortable -- just slightly bothersome). It lasted only a week but I haven't had that issue since and it was totally worth it to have my acne cleared! For the eye gel you will notice a slight tightening (which is great) so make sure you BLEND the edges of where the gel is so that you don't end up with an obvious difference in skin texture. I have also worn this under make up and it holds up very well, even when I use an eye makeup primer over it. I sadly didn't take any before photos but wished I did. Very good line of products and HIGHLY recommend not only this item individually, but using with the other products in the line.

The first tube I received was leaking and the owners reached out to me and made sure I got a replacement right away. As soon as I put it on I can feel the skin under my eyes start to tighten up and look brighter. I would recommend this product and there other true skin product to everybody. I just turned sixty and am trying to take better care of my skin. When I was younger I was a sun worshiper. The picture is of my daughter and myself a week before I turned 60.

I used it for a week and I feel my dark eye circles are getting fader! I have tried so many different eye cream and this is the first product that shows result!!! Happy with this purchase :)

Pas vraiment efficace

I think I've found an under eye cream that is not cerave and is gentle on your eyes. It apples nicely, did help with my puffy eyes so I use it during my morning routine to give me that awake look. I do not have obvious dark circles, it has minimized like my makeup circles, like on my eye lid. It does have a slight scent that is non overpowering. I've noticed a slight reduction in fine lines under my eye but nothing major, but with skin care noticeable change takes time.

Super sad, but it just doesn't do anything. I've been really consistent, but dark circles are just not going anywhere. Save your moneyy
