I have been using Revlon Colorsilk for 13 years. After trying numerous brands of black, it was the only true black I could find that did not fade to gray. I always noticed that after a couple of weeks, my hair would start to get frizzy until it was time to dye again. Two weeks it looked great, two weeks it looked ok...but always the right color. My hair grows fast, so I really could dye it every 3 weeks, but I make myself wait a month. I saw this advertised, and though it is twice as expensive...it is still very reasonably priced. I cut all the dead ends off my hair & gave it a shot. It has been more than a month since I dyed it, and though my blonde roots are showing and I need to dye again, my hair is just as nice & smooth as the day I first dyed it. I absolutely love the glossing cream that comes with it that you can use a little of each time you wash your hair. My hair feels healthier and looks great. I have found my new hair dye & I am not going back. If you are even considering it...try it!!

I’ve used Revlon ColortSilk #10 BLACK for many years. After trying Revlon Total Color I’m making the switch for good. I felt there was more product and the application was easy. I wasn’t bothered by the smell very mild no burning or itching during processing, no flaky dry scalp afterwards. I like how this black is a neutral tone base not Violet like ColorSilk. I have quite a few gray hairs around my temple that were completely covered. The color is a beautiful natural black not inky or flat. I got multiple tone and dimension with this color. I liked how well the conditioner worked but it didn’t smell that great. I colored my hair about a month ago and haven’t noticed any fading, but I only wash my hair three times a week and I only use sulfate free shampoo. Overall for the price the quality is great. I definitely recommend.

I have been coloring my hair for over 30 years. I spent a lot of money in salons over the years and finally realized that I prefer to color my hair myself. Lately I was using Garnier and my hair was looking so dry. I saw this new Revlon hair color with no ammonia and I thought that it would help my hair to look healthier. I found this color to be gentle. There was barely any scent, and the scent was very mild. The color was a very thick cream and I felt that it wasn't as easy to distribute onto my hair as the original Revlon haircolor in the red box. The thing I did not like was that when you mix the color, the bottle seems to be too small and it squirts all over. I have never had this happen ever and I have used many brands of hair color. I thought maybe that the plastic bottle was faulty so I opened another box, mixed ingredients and the bottle just squirted color all over my sink, which I'm gonna have to bleach out later on today. Thank fully nothing squirted anywhere else except on the floor but I had a towel on it, just in case. I found this process very messy, like I said, I have colored my hair for a long time and never had a problem with any bottle from any brand squirting product all over; it just didn't flow well. I wont buy this product again for this reason. Hopefully they will change the bottle in the future or make the color cream more liquidy so it flows better from the bottle. Truthfully I think that the bottle should be a little bigger so mixing is easier, less problematic. The gloss that comes with this kit is worth the price of the box. I may buy this brand again, not to use the coloring, but to use the gloss that came with it. It made my hair so soft, so shiny and my hair feels so thick and healthy and my hair strands are very thin. My final verdict is give it a try. You may find that the gloss is worth all this trouble. My hair looks shiny, strong and all my greys are covered. I am going back to using Revlon colorsilk in the red box. Its a classic for a reason.

Made my hair black, what more can I say?

This is my new go-to to cover gray. I would give longevity about 3 stars, only because I purchased and used it a month ago and I already see gray creeping in down my middle part. But I love how clean this formulation is. I usually have a mild scalp reaction when I color but this one...NO IRRITATION OR BURNING at all. It was easy to use, smelled nice without being overbearing or too strong, and it provided excellent gray hair coverage for maybe 5 weeks. I can usually go 2 months before I see gray hair again. BTW, my usual haircolor product is also a Revlon, but over the years I've tried them all and I come back to Revlon because it gets the job done nicely for a reasonable price. I'm very happy with the vegan version even though it means I will need to do touch ups sooner. I think it's worth it for the piece of mind and healthier scalp!

The coverage only last like 2 weeks then my grey was being seen 🤨again. I’m 38 and have grey in the front hair line. Won’t purchase again. ☹️

I’m pregnant but NEEDED to cover my grays because of where they were. Since I had to use a chemical-free dye, this was the only choice I had. Great quality for the price!! No smell at all and the color lasts a while. The conditioner it comes with smells amazing. I highly suggest using it to make the color last long. I used my regular conditioner and it seems that the color fades quicker than expected.

Love this color and the conditioner is one of the very best I've ever used. Wish they would make it by itself. Leaves your hair healthy looking, full of body and shiny. Just love it. Just wished the color lasted a bit longer but other than that, no complaints.

I have thin, dark hair therefore dyeing my hair causes me anxiety as I don't want to lose or damage what I have left. I have a few grey hairs towards my temples which could not go unnoticed. I very, very hesitantly used this product as it has great reviews and causes less damage to the hair. After using this product I have to say I am impressed. It made my hair feel and look luxurious and full. That was a complete surprise. It completely covered all my grays as well. Seriously waiting for it to be back in stock to use it again. The color lasted almost 2 months for me.

J'utilise cette coloration sans sulfate, sans ammoniaque et sans paraben depuis longtemps. Couleur lumineuse et qui masque tous mes cheveux blancs Et en plus je peux me la faire livrer à la maison au même prix. Que demander de plus?
