In my 40s and I wear this daily. I don’t need a lot of coverage for my skin, and this does a great job of evening out my skin tone and protecting me from the sun. I don’t feel like it makes me look greasy, but I’m also used to mineral sunscreen sitting more on the surface. The tint keeps it from looking white on my skin. It stays on well and I’m happy with it. I use it on top of a peptide serum and I get lots of compliments on my skin looking hydrated.

I really like this tinted mineral sunscreen from CeraVe. It feels lightweight and comfortable on my skin, blends in nicely, and the tint helps give my face a more even and natural look. I also love that it provides SPF 30 while keeping my skin feeling moisturized. It works well under makeup and doesn’t leave my face feeling heavy or greasy. A great everyday sunscreen

I am really enjoying this CeraVe Hydrating Mineral Sunscreen! I am always on the hunt for products that give me a quick, healthy glow without having to put on a full face of makeup, especially during the summer, and this completely hits the mark for easy coverage. ​The texture is beautifully lightweight and glides on so smoothly. I was honestly a bit nervous that it would leave that heavy, sticky, suffocating feeling that so many sunscreens do, but it is completely non-greasy. Plus, a huge win for me is that after wearing it for hours, it doesn't migrate or burn my eyes at all. ​The only reason I'm knocking off one star is the shade range. I picked up the Medium tint, and while I can definitely make it work for the summer when I have a bit more color, I really wish they offered an "in-between" shade option between Light and Medium. ​If you're looking for a comfortable, daily SPF that lets your skin breathe while evening out your complexion, this is a fantastic staple to have in your routine!

Nice alternative to Korean or chemical-based sunscreens, and the tint smooths out skintone. No chalky white look. Subtle enough to be used by Men. This is a mineral-based SPF 30 sunblock without harmful chemical sunscreens that turn sunlight's UV rays into infrared heat that cooks the skin, creating cancer [so ironic!]. FYI: Hence the rising 'skin' cancer rates DESPITE so much Sunscreen use these days. People used to use Baby Oil at the beach, which was not good, either. Feom what I learned, Skin cancer is actually diet-based & in the rancid stored refined fats & various 'bad' toxins (such as copper in the fungicides used by Big Ag & clothes co's) stored by the body in the fats & oils just below the constantly renewing skin, IF the liver-filter doesnt know how to safely get rid of them. Lack of anti-oxidants (such as a LOT of daily Whole Food Vit C complex, not plain ascorbic acid, unless in IV form) causes the wrinkles and sun damage. Humans (& primates) have a weird genetic defect where we do not make Vit C in our liver (like almost all other mammals), and often do not get enough every day. A deficiency can cause thin weak skin, fatigue, & eventually scurvy (easy bleeding, loosened teeth). It is ignored by Western-trained Doctors until it gets bad and requires ($$$) hospitalization and/or treatment. Hence the importantance of good 'clean' diet, keeping a strong immune system, avoiding synthetic chemicals, and not burning, so as to prevent signs of aging and certain cancers. Hence the millions of years of use of sunblocks like zinc & other minerals (mud!), fur or long hair, loose long clothes with a hood, trees, roofs, caves, and a healthy natural diet by all mammals & humans. This sunblock has little smell to it, a nice cream makeup-like texture, and Light, Medium, or Dark(ish) tint, and fairly good 'coverage'. Medium was perfect for blending my 'natural beige' slightly tanned (for the natural Vit D that prevents cancer!) Caucasian skin tone, scars, spots, and a spattering of what used to be cute Irish freckles when I was younger, into a smooth skin tone on my face, arms, and parts of my legs, without looking chalky or drying the skin, like some concealers or 24 hr makeups w/sunscreen. I put it on my always-exposed face & upper chest, sometimes the back of my hands, then elsewhere as needed. I keep a light tan so I do not burn, which as we all know, damages the skin. Sun exposure is necessary for optimal health, and blood Vit D level >40 (in winter) is a biomarker for getting adequate full-spectrum sun (per large Norweigan studies). The CereV lasts as long as regular dept. store quality cream-based make-up, BUT costs a lot less IF you have a standard light, medium, or medium-dark tan skin color, dry, normal, or combo skin type, and are of the 80% with a neutral or golden-yellow undertone. Not sure how it would match up with a rosy-red or olive undertone, or breakout -prone oily skin, but probably would be better than most sunscreens, since zinc is very good for the skin and the immune system. The 'Dark' tint will be chalky on very dark brown-black skin. Hope this helps you!

i honestly don't leave a lot of product reviews - but this product is absolute magic in a tube! Not only is it a good sunscreen but its an awesome skin product with niacinamide and hyaluronic acid so it is actually a really good addition to a skin care routine as well as offering mineral based protection from the sun. I have found that gently patting it on after applying my daily moisturizer minimizes any "pilling" of products and within a really short time my skin absorbs the product (it can look a little sticky for a short time) and the result is a really light, glowy tint. Not a heavy cake-y look, just fresh looking skin. I am so impressed with this I have put it on my subscribe and save list and will use it year round - something I have never felt compelled to do with any other tinted sunscreen. No overwhelming "chemical" scent. A really impressive product and the price cannot be beat!.

The product is a lot thinner than other sunblocks. VERY creamy! The tint is sheer but it’s less sheer than I actually thought. Which is fine bc I’ll use it as more natural makeup in the summer time if I go anywhere. It’s not so much that you can tell either though! My sister who sees me every single day told me my skin looked “very youthful” today and didn’t know it was tinted spf. She had smelled my face when I wore another spf and had agreed the other one STUNK so badly but we didn’t smell anything on this one. I am fairly light but I got the medium based on reviews I searched for on tiktok. I figured the white cast would lighten it up somehow but there is NO WHITE CAST! But the color is still fine bc it isn’t chalky like la Roche posay tinted liquid spf. This is very natural! When I applied this product it looked SO SHINY. I almost regretted it…. But 20-30 min later (I applied it then immediately drove 15 min to my sisters house) the product had set and it has a much more natural and dewy but not crazy oily finish. I love it so far. I do consider myself to have very sensitive dry/combo skin and am in the process of repairing a damaged skin barrier. This didn’t itch or burn or anything. I did notice it started pulling after rubbing it in so much but I did kinda rush my morning routine this morning. I’ll update if it wasn’t my bad. Update: it’s been 5 hrs since I applied it. It’s definitely not going to be doubling as a moisturizer. I don’t feel like it’s dehydrated but it’s not moisturizing like other sun screen has been. But maybe just expected it to since it’s cerave but it’s not marketed as such. But that’s ok with me bc I’m more worried about the SPF part of the product. Shade: at first I didn’t notice bc I was just indoors…. But it has enough tint for someone to notice the change in skin tone between my face and body so now I’m going to need to order the light one

This is a great all-mineral spf. And yes - it is extremely hard to find an SPF WITHOUT chemical boosters. A lot of brands claim that they are "100% mineral" only for the inactive ingrediens to include "Butyloctyl salicylate." This one does not have that ingredient which is really nice just from a formula point-of-view. Other formula highlights include ceramides, cholesterol, Niacinamide, and Sodium hyaluronate. Keep in mind that this spf aso does contain salicylic acid (bha) and capryloyl salicylic acid (lha). If your skin is extremely sensitive or your barrier is very weak, this may irritate it a little. I wear this every morning with cerave's daily moisturizing lotion underneath after washing my face. I find that wearing a lightweight lotion under it and letting it fully absorb can help a little with the dryness that can happen with zinc-based products. With that being said, this product has been described as being "greasy" by others, and I can definitely see why. However, I put up with it because it is the best tinted ALL mineral spf I have found at an affordable price point. I am also carfeul to wash my face beforehand and only have one product (the lotion) on underneath. Stacking a lot of products may cause pilling, and therefore I don't wear meakup on top of this. I love the way this makes my skin look (very dewy and glowy), but if you are into matte looks, skip this one for sure. The reason of the ultimate four-star review is that it is a little too greasy for my liking still, and the fact it can be a little hard to remove (as with all mineral spf's though). I use micellar water on a cotton round, followed by a non-foaming face wash twice. Sometimes, I have a little pit of spf around my nose folds or eyes, but I easlily remove that with a towel or q-tip. I also still notice a little extra dryness after removing, but again, that is typical with mineral-based sunscreens. All in all, I reccomend this for very sensitive and minimilistic skincare people who want an all-in-one product at an affordable price. I don't reccomend this product for those seeking a matte look, people who have more complex routines with lots of layering, or those wearing makeup.

Sie hat die perfekte Dicke und deckt Feinheiten ab. Hinterlässt einen super schönen Glow der zieht aber nach einer Zeit ein. Der Geruch ist sehr natürlich und begleitet einen die ersten Tage, dann habe ich mich schon dran gewöhnt. Ich bin super zufrieden!!

I absolutely love this - a little really does go a long way and I find one application sufficient to last all day. It’s quite a thick cream and took me a couple of goes to get the hang of applying it smoothly. The finish is very similar to my Bare Minerals tinted moisturiser but costs just over one third of that price! I trust this brand as I use one of their cleansers and the tint works just fine on my summer tanned fair skin. I do need to use a finishing powder to eliminate the shine but that’s no problem. So pleased to have found it.
