CeraVe Tinted Sunscreen for Face, Mineral SPF 30 Moisturizer, Medium, 1.7oz

I really like this CeraVe mineral sunscreen. It feels lightweight and moisturizing on my skin, and the tint blends nicely without looking heavy or cakey. It gives my skin a healthy, natural-looking finish while providing SPF 30 protection. I also love that it contains ceramides and niacinamide. It’s easy to apply and works well for everyday use. Definitely a great sunscreen for my daily skincare routine!

In my 40s and I wear this daily. I don’t need a lot of coverage for my skin, and this does a great job of evening out my skin tone and protecting me from the sun. I don’t feel like it makes me look greasy, but I’m also used to mineral sunscreen sitting more on the surface. The tint keeps it from looking white on my skin. It stays on well and I’m happy with it. I use it on top of a peptide serum and I get lots of compliments on my skin looking hydrated.

I am really enjoying this CeraVe Hydrating Mineral Sunscreen! I am always on the hunt for products that give me a quick, healthy glow without having to put on a full face of makeup, especially during the summer, and this completely hits the mark for easy coverage. ​The texture is beautifully lightweight and glides on so smoothly. I was honestly a bit nervous that it would leave that heavy, sticky, suffocating feeling that so many sunscreens do, but it is completely non-greasy. Plus, a huge win for me is that after wearing it for hours, it doesn't migrate or burn my eyes at all. ​The only reason I'm knocking off one star is the shade range. I picked up the Medium tint, and while I can definitely make it work for the summer when I have a bit more color, I really wish they offered an "in-between" shade option between Light and Medium. ​If you're looking for a comfortable, daily SPF that lets your skin breathe while evening out your complexion, this is a fantastic staple to have in your routine!

Nice alternative to Korean or chemical-based sunscreens, and the tint smooths out skintone. No chalky white look. Subtle enough to be used by Men. This is a mineral-based SPF 30 sunblock without harmful chemical sunscreens that turn sunlight's UV rays into infrared heat that cooks the skin, creating cancer [so ironic!]. FYI: Hence the rising 'skin' cancer rates DESPITE so much Sunscreen use these days. People used to use Baby Oil at the beach, which was not good, either. Feom what I learned, Skin cancer is actually diet-based & in the rancid stored refined fats & various 'bad' toxins (such as copper in the fungicides used by Big Ag & clothes co's) stored by the body in the fats & oils just below the constantly renewing skin, IF the liver-filter doesnt know how to safely get rid of them. Lack of anti-oxidants (such as a LOT of daily Whole Food Vit C complex, not plain ascorbic acid, unless in IV form) causes the wrinkles and sun damage. Humans (& primates) have a weird genetic defect where we do not make Vit C in our liver (like almost all other mammals), and often do not get enough every day. A deficiency can cause thin weak skin, fatigue, & eventually scurvy (easy bleeding, loosened teeth). It is ignored by Western-trained Doctors until it gets bad and requires ($$$) hospitalization and/or treatment. Hence the importantance of good 'clean' diet, keeping a strong immune system, avoiding synthetic chemicals, and not burning, so as to prevent signs of aging and certain cancers. Hence the millions of years of use of sunblocks like zinc & other minerals (mud!), fur or long hair, loose long clothes with a hood, trees, roofs, caves, and a healthy natural diet by all mammals & humans. This sunblock has little smell to it, a nice cream makeup-like texture, and Light, Medium, or Dark(ish) tint, and fairly good 'coverage'. Medium was perfect for blending my 'natural beige' slightly tanned (for the natural Vit D that prevents cancer!) Caucasian skin tone, scars, spots, and a spattering of what used to be cute Irish freckles when I was younger, into a smooth skin tone on my face, arms, and parts of my legs, without looking chalky or drying the skin, like some concealers or 24 hr makeups w/sunscreen. I put it on my always-exposed face & upper chest, sometimes the back of my hands, then elsewhere as needed. I keep a light tan so I do not burn, which as we all know, damages the skin. Sun exposure is necessary for optimal health, and blood Vit D level >40 (in winter) is a biomarker for getting adequate full-spectrum sun (per large Norweigan studies). The CereV lasts as long as regular dept. store quality cream-based make-up, BUT costs a lot less IF you have a standard light, medium, or medium-dark tan skin color, dry, normal, or combo skin type, and are of the 80% with a neutral or golden-yellow undertone. Not sure how it would match up with a rosy-red or olive undertone, or breakout -prone oily skin, but probably would be better than most sunscreens, since zinc is very good for the skin and the immune system. The 'Dark' tint will be chalky on very dark brown-black skin. Hope this helps you!

I really like this tinted mineral sunscreen from CeraVe. It feels lightweight and comfortable on my skin, blends in nicely, and the tint helps give my face a more even and natural look. Finally I found it! I absolutely love this tinted sunscreen! The Medium shade blends beautifully into my skin and gives me a natural, healthy glow without looking heavy or cakey. It evens out my complexion just enough that I can wear it on its own without feeling like I need foundation. I also love that it provides SPF 30 protection while moisturizing my skin. It goes on smoothly, feels comfortable throughout the day, and doesn’t leave that typical white cast you can get with mineral sunscreens. My skin looks fresh, hydrated, and naturally polished. This has quickly become one of my favorite everyday skincare products. I’ll definitely be buying it again! I’m a licensed Esthetician and this is quality product and brand!

Whoa! Did Cerave change the formula? I haven’t used this in a while. I have been experimenting with different sunscreens. I went to apply today and noticed it is runny instead of thick and creamy. I therefore wasted a lot because it came out quick. Still the same great coverage. The light color is too light and the medium a little dark for me so I usually mix the medium with a little bit of the crave mineral 50 spf sunscreen to get the perfect shade.

i honestly don't leave a lot of product reviews - but this product is absolute magic in a tube! Not only is it a good sunscreen but its an awesome skin product with niacinamide and hyaluronic acid so it is actually a really good addition to a skin care routine as well as offering mineral based protection from the sun. I have found that gently patting it on after applying my daily moisturizer minimizes any "pilling" of products and within a really short time my skin absorbs the product (it can look a little sticky for a short time) and the result is a really light, glowy tint. Not a heavy cake-y look, just fresh looking skin. I am so impressed with this I have put it on my subscribe and save list and will use it year round - something I have never felt compelled to do with any other tinted sunscreen. No overwhelming "chemical" scent. A really impressive product and the price cannot be beat!.

Sie hat die perfekte Dicke und deckt Feinheiten ab. Hinterlässt einen super schönen Glow der zieht aber nach einer Zeit ein. Der Geruch ist sehr natürlich und begleitet einen die ersten Tage, dann habe ich mich schon dran gewöhnt. Ich bin super zufrieden!!

I absolutely love this - a little really does go a long way and I find one application sufficient to last all day. It’s quite a thick cream and took me a couple of goes to get the hang of applying it smoothly. The finish is very similar to my Bare Minerals tinted moisturiser but costs just over one third of that price! I trust this brand as I use one of their cleansers and the tint works just fine on my summer tanned fair skin. I do need to use a finishing powder to eliminate the shine but that’s no problem. So pleased to have found it.
