I wanted to use this bag for a while before I added anything here... When I purchased this (6/7 months ago) I was immediately impressed with the craftsmanship and quality of the design, materials and robustness. So I waited as to not be visually biased, and have purchasers remorse. I'm here to tell you that it was worth every penny and more. The durability alone is great. Size? Fits all I need and more. I use it for work daily, and stuff it with a few small hand tools, hand towels, gloves, winter hat, extra clothes just on case... My lunch.. Few Water bottles. That's just the main compartment. Inside it also has a small place for things like keys/wallet or whatever. Large front expanded pocket, 2 small but expandable side pockets, and a non expanding full size pocket in back. Nice thick and comfortable shoulder strap. On thing that's amazing is the construction of off this bag... Heavy duty without the "heavy weight" nice heavy duty zipper, and flap over with snaps... OK, the snaps... Built to last and the best part is they incorporated a loop with the snap so it can be easily snapped closed with one hand/2 fingers. Put your finger behind the Loop and pop its closed. I am a rough guy, but I do take care of all my equipment. This seems to be holding up fantastic, I highly recommend this as a good go to bag.

I am obsessed with my Scruffy Dog! I decided to go this route for my school backpack this year and I am so glad I did. It is so spacious and has so many pockets for all my different needs compared to a standard backpack. The multiple compartments and pockets make it much easier for me to stay organized and find exactly what I am looking for quickly. It’s very durable, I don’t have to worry about it ripping tearing or falling apart. The straps are so padded so they do not hurt my shoulders and back. The clasps on the straps make adjusting the length quick and easy and you can carry the bag on your side or across the body what ever is most comfortable and distributes the weight. On top of all that, it is just so darn cute and goes with everything! A product has to be pretty great for me to write a review. This bag definitely is! I also would like to note, that it is a little pricier than what I would usually spend on a backpack/school bag but it has beyond exceeded my expectations so I am glad I went for it. The Scruffy Dog is totally worth it!

It’s excellent! Thick but soft. Well made and great hardware. More than big enough to pack a lot of, but folds flat. Only wished I had bought this along time ago. I can see this lasting a long time. Highly recommend.

I presume this was going to be the same size as a smaller Messenger bag I've had forever. Boy was I wrong but it's okay! This sucker is huge! It's got multiple compartments. I was able to carry everything I needed for a weekend getaway including stuff for my dog in this one bag. It can be heavy though so you better have a strong shoulder to put it on. Very nice quality. Durable!

I love this bag for the most part. Other reviews have noted that the bag is "floppy", which is true - it has no support structure - but this is one reason I actually like the bag - if it's not full it conforms to your side very well when carrying it - something I can't say about other messenger type bags that I own. You can fit a lot of stuff in this bag - also partially due to it being so easily conformable. It is very well made, and the strap is amazing - it's well padded and really wide - sure, it's not infinitely adjustable like some straps, but they honestly don't ever need to be. Well thought out, and looks amazing. The couple of gripes I have are the interior pockets - there are two open slip pockets on the front of the inside, but they are sewn too high on the interior liner to be of much use - not much you can fit in there, and what you can fit just falls out. On the back side of the interior is a small zipper pocket - also with a lot of the same issues - the pocket should go much further down the liner, allowing to actually use the pocket for anything larger than a slim wallet. The only other thing I would have loved to see added somewhere on the interior or even in the front exterior snap pocket would be a key clip. I worry about dropping my keys in and thinking they might fall out. These are my only complaints, but they aren't serious enough to me to keep this from being my favorite messenger style bag I've ever had. If they come out with a version 2.0 with a few slight changes, you can count me in!

Love the "hobo" chic aesthetic! Rugged and unapologetic. It's a somewhat heavy bag due to the material, so do bear that in mind. I like the unusual construction of the shoulder strap, as well as the overall detailing for the hardware and stitching. Genuine leather accents. Can easily fit 14" laptops (15.6" laptops would fit but you'd have to wiggle it in due to the zippered enclosure). Makes for a nice overnight bag as well. It's smaller than it looks but it's got some hefty presence. I like the faded coloration. Scruffily good! 👍🏼

A recent hand surgery left me unable to utilize my pockets for all of my every day carry stuff, I couldn’t see myself carrying a backpack everywhere I went, and as a blue collar dude I didn’t want something that felt like a purse. This definitely didn’t feel like a purse, it’s large enough for all of my everyday items, it’s strong and durable and it’s super comfortable to carry. I love the way this bag looks, I’m always getting compliments on it, even from other guys. I love the attachment rings on the carry strap, they make for perfect spots to attach my keys, which saves me from injuring my hand by reaching into my pocket. I love all of the pockets and I love how roomy this thing is, I honestly don’t know how I went so many years without having something like this. I never thought I’d be the kind of guy to carry a bag everywhere, but here I am and I don’t regret it.

Love this bag! It is my everyday carry and holds everything I need, very versatile and quality made. Zippers and snaps work as they should and very smooth. I like the convenance of having what I need when I need it and this bag holds it all and more. Highly recommend!

I received the bag earlier than the scheduled delivery date. There was no damages on the package. I love this bag. It's very roomy with very good quality canvas. The strap is very comfortable. There are enough compartments to carry my belongings. It is a great purchase.
