New, out of the box, these pads smell like new tires. And the smell is strong. But, within a few days, the scent has faded to the point where it is barely noticeable. The practice pads fit with my Gretsch Catalina Club 4-piece kit and Sabian AAX cymbals (hi-hats, ride and crash) just fine. Gives enough sound-dampening so as not to disturb others in the house when I'm practicing. The pads don't interfere with the normal feel of the kick drum or the sticks, and I get a realistic rebound on both. Installation of the pads only took a few minutes. Make sure you have a drum key to install the adjustable kick drum bracket. The only bad part is that I now have to come up with new excuses explaining why I'm not prepared for rehearsals. Quite happy with the quality and price of this practice pad kit.

Absolutely love these. They virtually make the drum heads quiet as ever. Same with the ride and hi-hat. The crash cymbal mute still allows it to ring a little but it's a nice touch. I can practice now whenever I want!

These work pretty well, but don’t offer much damping, and they don’t feel great. They also don’t seem to really offer any rebound, which is understandable since there isn’t much support to them, however I’ve found that other brands mite pass, especially thicker ones, will offer you a slightly better stick feel. The kick pad doesn’t seem to be very durable either. The one thing I found to be exciting and very effective was the fitted covers for the ride and hats. Those were actually very effective for the damping and still allowed maintaining the original feel of the cymbal. If you’re looking for a good quiet setup With a realistic feel I’d consider doing their Soundoff Mesh Heads instead. If you need extra attack you can add a kick patch and it feels about the same as a real kit with way less volume.

They dampen noise well but have a horrible chemical smell. Other reviewers mentioned it but I didn't think it would be as bad as it was. It's disgusting and can be smelled just being in the room without playing. I returned them and am looking for another option.

Really makes a difference to volume - even the dog stayed in the room whilst practicing. I used bulldog clips to pinch up any excess on the cymbal pads - and that works well. WARNING ! The kick pad is held on with two metal arms that clamp on the the kick drum hoop. Mine broke on day one and scratched the cr4p out of my hoop - Not great and the damage will cost more to repair than these pads cost!!! But for the rest of the kit it makes a real difference.

En si los pads son de buena calidad, funcionan como deben, sin embargo yo recomendaría comprar todo por separado y el kick pad comprar de otra marca, ya que no reduce el sonido como dice, y por si fuese poco, es lo mas caro.
