Sitting Soft
Looks great and is super soft. It's only been on the toilet for a couple of days, but so far, so good. I will say that the fluffiness of the chenille was pushing the lid down before I could sit down. Now, after having used the toilet several times since getting it, it has stopped.

Finally have a lid cover that actually fits my elongated toilet lid!
Previous lid covers I have purchased stated they fit both round and elongated lids; however, the covers are too short in the back to stay put on my elongated toilet lids and scoot off, which drives me crazy! THIS ONE ACTUALLY FITS! Yay!!! I see other comments that the seat won’t stay up with this thicker cover utilized and while I saw it could try to drop back down, if I make sure and lift it and hold in place a second or two, it stays up until I decide to lower it back. I am very happy with this purchase and will definitely order again for my other toilets when needed. Highly recommend.

Adjust your expectations
The color is not a royal purple as in the photo: rather it is more of a plum (reddish) or claret. My phone is usually pretty much ok with colors, so it is my opinion it is the photo in the listing that is off.Secondly, rather than thick plush, the one I received was rather large loops. It seems soft. I haven't washed it enough to comment on washability.
