EPDM Liner Repair Patch 8.5-Inch for Ponds, Streams and Water Gardens | 22018, Black

Used this patch to seal a leak in my 300 gallon Rubbermaid stock tank that is used as a waterlily/fish pond. This leak has been "fixed" three times before with different sealers and they just didn't work. This patch is really sticky. I sanded the area, cleaned it with alcohol and stuck the patch in place. It's working and the weight of the water should keep it tight.

I cleaned up the vinyl with some alcohol and dried it. I ended up cutting smaller pieces from this large patch and all of the holes I covered have covered well and stopped leakage.

Had a huge hole in our koi pond. Thought we were probably going to have to replace the liner completely. Purchased this, it’s been installed for a month or so now and it’s holding up. MUCH cheaper than replacing the liner. Just make sure you throughly clean the surface before applying. We used rubbing alcohol, and also only had to use a portion of the sticky patch. Thanks for affordable functional options!

I found this product to be very frustrating. The patch came in a generic wrapping, with zero instructions. I searched the Amazon listing and then I went to the product's webpage. All I could find for instructions was to peel and stick, other commentators stated the surface needs to be cleaned and maybe roughed up. This leaves some important questions #1 -- This product is made for ponds, therefore, can water be present? #2 -- Can this product be applied when it is cold? #3 -- How long should I wait for the bond to be ideally bound? So, not knowing any of this, I went out to my new pond liner (I discovered the hole after I had installed the liner) and applied the patch. It was drizzling at the time and cold, so I discovered my first two questions. #1 can this patch adhere to surfaces with water -- No! #2 Does this patch work well in the cold -- No! So I covered my work and came back to it, in the morning with a hair drier and for now the patch seems to be holding well. Later on, I'll add water to see if the patch is successful, I think it is from the look of it, but I want to give the patch more time to properly adhere before applying water. Not too satisfied with the product. Not stick to the pond liner.

This was so easy to install / apply and so far it is holding up. I used it to patch a fairly big hole in my rubber-lined 250 gallon pond. Before I applied this though, just to be double sure I don't lose anymore water to that hole, I used aquarium sealant. I let the sealant dry for 24 hours, then applied this patch, and then refilled the pond. So far so good!

We were able to patch a large hole successful with no issues. Worked perfect.

J’ai utilise ceci pour boucher un trou dans ma toile de piscine, nettement p lu s efficace que ceux transparent qu’ils vendent un peu partout, il faut simplement l’appliquer sur une zone bien sèche, je l’ai laissé sécher et durcir en plein soleil et ça fonctionne à merveille
