Leather Laptop Messenger Bag for Men and Women - Briefcase Crossbody Office

This is exactly what I was looking for - soft floppy leather bag that falls down if stood upright. Others might expect it to stand upright like most modern leather cases. The leather is also super absorbent. I treated it with balm to make it rain resistant; and it completely darkened in color. Again, though, that’s what I wanted So if you do decide to treat it, test a small piece on the bottom to see if it’s acceptable. With the balm, you have to completely cover it including each seam and every nook and cranny. Otherwise it will look really bad. Look at the pictures to see the permanent color change when treating it with balm. There are other sprays on products that will maintain the color while making it rain resistant if that’s what you want.

Not only does it work well and fit everything you need, but it also actually looks quite nice.

Got this in January to replace a pleather bag I got last year that fell apart. Feels well made, holds a small bag of tools, small parts for machines, my laptop and some EDC stuff. Wish I'd gotten the one with the handle as this is geared more towards an office worker than a maintenance technician, the magnetic clasps undo under any real weight/pressure ( such as my small tool sachel) and it really has to be conditioned about once a month. It definitely shows the wear just 3 months in, but I'm ok with that. For the 40ish bucks I spent , it's a pretty good bag.

The messenger bag is great for my needs. It holds multiple tablets of legal size paper. It can hold my laptop easily. It has space for typical doodads and pocket items. I like the slim look of it compared to my previous bulky briefcase with a shoulder strap. I also like the rugged leather construction with a zippered pocket and magnetic fasteners. It has a pleasant texture and distinctive brown color. I feel more together and professional when I use it.

If you just need a bag that looks like leather, this will be fine. But it’s not dat all leather. The smell is very chemically like they lubed it up with something so it would smell like leather. It smells like wood stain. It’s a good substitute and almost convincing to the untrained eye. But I’ve been working with leather my entire life - my step father was a cobbler and I’m still a leather working hobbyist - and this is not genuine leather. One of the ways you can tell is by looking at the back of the little pen holders. The reverse side of genuine leather has a texture to it. It’s the inside of the animal’s skin. Like, check out the backside of a genuine leather belt of mine. Also, look at the edge grain of the same belt. You can see how there are different layers to the leather. And, fair enough, belt leather will be thicker than bag leather, but even thinner boot leather has similar properties. I also included some images of some high quality boots for comparison. Now, compare that to the “leather” of this bag. Having said all that, it seems like a really good quality bag made of quality materials. It looks like it will get a cool patina as it ages, but it won’t have the durability of leather. I’m definitely returning this.

Very nice brown leather carry bag. Adjustable strap and plenty of room to add folders and other small office supplies including chargers. Highly recommend. The quality is excellent It has a distressed look which I like and makes it a nice unisex bag for home or office. Very durable 5 stars !

I haven't stopped using this since. I got it, wow. I'm a teacher, so it fits all my books, my paperwork. Even snacks and a can of soda. It's very well made. Good looking bag, nice leather. If something happened to mine, I would definitely buy this again absolutely worth every penny.

Arrived today and super impressed. Perfect size for a 15.6" laptop and plenty of room for headset, power adapter, additional room for folders, notebooks, or an extra tablet. Great look and quality of leather. Appears to be very sturdy. A little patina after some use and it will look even better. Not as large as it appears in the pics.. perfectly sized for my needs.

gorgeous case, soft but firm leather. I loved this case, it was just a little small for my 15.6" laptop and cover that I always keep it in. It is with regret that I shan't be keeping this case.

I'm very happy with is bag. It's big enough to carry a 15.6 inch laptop, full size notebook, a ton of pens, charger, battery backup, candies, spare earbuds, and some diabetic supplies. It's a man purse, what can I say. Treated mine with mink oil and it really pops when I wear my leather jacket and shoes!
