This works well in our shop. It was easy to install.

Solid construction
This is exactly what we needed. Very simple, solid construction. This may be why the cost is a bit high, not cheap feeling at all. I do wish there was a vent lock for venting without the fan running.

Quality and fit is very good.
For the price, these appear to be well built, installed easy and so far are working fine. I only needed the vents not the fans, so I don't know if the fans are of the same quality.

Keeps the flies out!
Functions as should. If you paint it, it will take a little wear to close fully again. If you don’t paint it it will function correctly without fail.

Fits exactly. What are the chances?
I’m very pleased with this set of louvers.Our house came with an Emerson exhaust fan which seemed totally useless, broken and leaked air all year long. One day I got the idea that I could replace just the louvers, found the part, ordered it, and lo and behold it fit exactly — the old holes AND fan.SO happy with the fix!!

Greenhouse ventilation
Using vent for my greenhouse with power vent, works great.

Too heavy duty for any but a powerful fan
Tried this with a household fan, trying to cut corners with expenses. The louvers were to heavy to open enough without more airflow. I bought one with a fan on it already, and it works great.
