Microsoft Surface Book 2, 13.5" Touch-Screen PixelSense ™ 2-in-1 Laptop (Intel Core i5 8th Gen - 8GB Memory - 256GB SSD - Platinum)

I bought Book 2 in 2021 although its a 4 year old product and older than book 3 which is also available but much pricey. I did lot of research and found that the technology and hardware Microsoft put in to come up with this product is still unbeatable and even today. Although there many 2 in 1 laptops available, Book series always lead them.Why do we need 2 in 1 laptop: Though its slightly pricey and weighing a bit, but there is extra ordinary comfort when you use it as a tab and too professional when use for Meetings, Office work or even editing videos, images as graphic designer.I simply loved this product and think that the investment I did will surely have some returns.Sameer

top end laptop highly useful for educational purposes. I have purchased three surface book laptops out of which two are given to my children who are studying in super-specialty in medical courses, they are telling me this is flawless. .Earlier to this I purchased a surface pro 4 but it started flickering so exchanged it for the surface book. this laptop is best for academics, teaching, and research..some times we feel service not available in India.Thanks to amazon, chroma stores Bangalore and respected BILL GATE. There is no warranty for the product. They don't mention it explicitly.

I’ve Been owning this laptop for 14 months now. Just after the warranty period, Display is completely not switching on. Laptop is not even turning on. Customer care Is asking me to pay thousand euros to replace it without any rectification solution at all. Not worth the money 🤙

The media could not be loaded.  This package came by faster than expected!! I had ordered another surface book by other person and got damaged on the way here so I ordered this cost maybe a little more but so worth the wait!! Got here so much faster packaging was impeccable!! Brand new out the box ordered a Toast cover and windows keyboard cover/cheat sheet best investment yet! Loothive!! Best place to order from 100 % recommend!!

Just received our Surface Book 2 today and going through the set up process. Came on time (next day with order placed on Sunday). Satisfied with the product. as received. Rating is on the product so far.Have to note the delivery is a different story. Should be 0-1 star. The driver (in his own personal car) actually threw/dropped the package on our porch. So much so it made a loud enough noise to us inside the house to go and check it out. This is a computer and should be handled differently. No damaged seen and the unit powers up to allow the set up process to run. Will comment later if this changes.

Overall laptop is good, but my adaptor stopped working recently. The laptop is not only 8 month old and charger is not working. I am not saying all adaptors are of same quality, but the adaptor i got was defective n its stopped working.

It's been nearly a year and our surface book 2 hasn't had any consistent major issues *knocks on wood* so far. Initially, there was one minor issue with the headphone jack producing this static buzzing noise whenever a headphone was plugged in, but it went away after reinstalling the audio drivers. And sometimes the screen would go black when trying to use it, but it hasn't persisted and we think it's cause of these new updates Microsoft is pushing.I wouldn't say it's worth buying it if you don't need the tablet functionality and extra power it has over the surface pro line. But, given that the surface book 3 just came out, I think the surface book 2 is a great buy when on sale. We hope to be able to use our surface book 2 for 5 years and more without any major hiccups...
