Plant Therapy Organic Frankincense Carterii Essential Oil 10 mL, Pure Oil

I’ve been really happy with this organic Frankincense Carterii essential oil from Plant Therapy. It has that rich, earthy, slightly resinous scent I was looking for, and it blends beautifully with so many of my other oils. I especially enjoy using it in my evening diffuser blends with lavender, chamomile, and cedarwood. It adds a warm, grounding note that makes the whole blend feel more calming and relaxing. I’ve also used it in diluted massage oil blends and really like the depth it adds. The scent smells natural and high quality, and a little goes a long way. This has definitely become one of the oils I reach for often.

We regularly use essential oils for our DIY balms. The quality matters and Plant Therapy has proven to be the best. The smell of this frankincense is warm and pleasant. The gentle relief it provides to achy joints and muscles in the tallow balm I most recently used it in just what we were hoping for. It feels so good, smells so good - I'm looking for something else to use it in. . . .

Quality and price are unbeatable, and Plant Therapy has unsurpassed integrity. I have a B.A. in Holistic Psychology and a minor in Cognitive Neuroscience. I do research involving applying evidence-based methods/the scientific method to ancient forms of healing, and finding ways to offer integrative care to patients that takes the best of Western, Eastern, ancient, and modern medicine. Great piney top note out of the bottle and once applied, heavenly base-notes that can only be described as "overwhelmingly spiritual and ancient" (can't think of any other way to phrase this). The company has so much integrity that when a blogger tested one of their oils a while back (I forget which one, but not the frankincense) and found that it did not meet certain standards, they pulled every single bottle from their online store AND took a loss for the ones already on Amazon (had Amazon pull ALL bottles), until a new batch was made that they could sell. This came at a cost of literally tens of thousands of dollars to Plant Therapy. If that doesn't show integrity and a willingness to stand behind their products, I don't know what does. This oil has greatly improved my quality of life, and although the company does not endorse or reccommend this type of usage, I will use their organic Frankincense Carterii under my tongue (2-3 drops, 2-3x per day) for sublingual absorption. Even when my roommate gets sick I do not ever get fully sick. I can feel the sickness or the itchy throat begin for a couple hours, and then POOF, gone. Applying it to sore muscles or my hand when I got a minor carpel tunnel like feeling provided instant relief within minutes. This is my second bottle of 30ml and I am so glad I found this brand. Coming from someone who researches alternative medicine as a career, I can wholeheartedly reccommend this product, and I do not do so lightly (I will not reccomend something to the general public unless I am convinced of its safety and efficacy). Certain medical interactions can happen with drugs you may be taking, and not everyone's body is the same. If you do choose to ingest, make sure it is ONLY USDA certified organic oils, and not just "natural" oils, as "natural" products have no real legal standards.

Received oil quickly and well packaged. I use 2 drops with my moisturizer/sunscreen in the daytime. My oily breakout prone skin has not had any bad reaction to the oil after a week of consistent use. The oil has a pleasant lemony smell. I chose Plant Therapy oils because they seemed to offer a good quality oil at a reasonable price. If I could afford the best, I would get it. But I can't, so I think that Plant Therapy offers a good middle of the road choice for the 99% who are not buzzillionaires. And middle of the road does not mean bad quality. I think it means less focus on the packaging/marketing and more focus on the product/customer. I gave a 4 star rating because very few things on this earth rate 5 star for me. And regarding paid reviews. As far as I'm concerned, a paid review is NOT a valid review. As of right now, I would probably buy oils from Plant Therapy again.

Love making my own home body products. Works well and natural.

I love this high quality frankincense. I use it with a few other oils to make a relaxing oil that I put in a bottle with a roller and use it on my face. This is one of the higher quality brands that won’t break the bank. I also appreciate that this frankincense can be taken out of the bottle by drops or pouring. So many companies make it almost impossible to use the oil in anything except the bottle it comes in. I have used this brand for several different essential oils and I highly recommend it.

Delivery took longer than I had hoped, but arrived within the broad window given. The items were true to label and decent value.

Excellent Frankincense. I had a cyst in a difficult area, used cannabis oil and some of this, applied it to the cyst and within a few hours it had shrunk and was gone. I have never seen something work that fast. It could have been the combo of the oils, not sure. Good quality essential oil and a good price, as it should be with Frankincense. I have seen it priced at about $100 from those MLM companies and that is absurd.
