NeedNeeded these for a Star Wars Fan Film. They fit perfectly. They looked great on film. Really completed my ensemble. High-quality materials.

I bought these, fully expecting to do modifications and they did not disappoint. I wear a size 13 shoe, so not surprising the fastening system couldn't accommodate. But it was really small, and poorly constructed. After replacing the two short elastic strips on the bottom with one longer one and sewing it in securely, I had something workable. I used the two elastics to reinforce the back of the heel (seam split open immediately) and at the top of the boot where another seam opened up. I'm docking one star for the poor construction (not necessarily for sizing, although it is related). I'm docking another star for design ... the boots won't stay up. I have large calves and once I pulled up the boots, they fit snugly. But the boots would slide down as I wore them. Instead of being around my calves I kept finding them at my ankles. And that was fitting snug on my legs. Someone with thinner legs wouldn't be able to keep them up at all. I'll probably do some more modifications and insert some boning in them for next time. That said, despite the modifications and other issues, I got several compliments. My brother was convinced I bought full on period boots. He's not the most observant guy around, but still, he raved about the boots and had all kinds of questions. I didn't even tell him they were slip overs.

What a fun and affordable way to get that pirate boot look. They would have been perfect except my calf is too big. Mine aren't huge, but they are bothersomely tight in skinny jeans so if you can wear tight jeans, you can fit in these.

I bought these for my husband to use with his pirate costume. They certainly gave the illusion of wearing real boots and blended in well with his shoes. He received a lot of compliments on his costume. They fit well and were easy to use.

Low quality. Strap on the bottom broke the first time I tried these on. They look fine, especially for the price, but you need to have a way to hold the top of the boots up. Some sticky Velcro on your pants, or tie the tops really tight. The cheap vinyl falls down pretty easily.

Easy on... Easy off... We did use rubber bands on the top to hold them up better, great idea and cheaper than boots he wouldn't wear..
