This needs to be assembled, it clips together but does need a bit of effort, it took me 10mins. Instructions are printed on the box and are simple to follow. It’s acceptable for the price, it does the job but may not last 10years, though the Hozelock auto reel didn’t last that long either.

Easy to assembly, just follow the instructions on the box lid. Seams to be sturdy enough. Four stars as don't know how long it will last, although don't store it indoors only time will tell

All the reviews for this item mention the same thing and this review will be no exception! NO INSTRUCTIONS!.. I suggest you put a brew on, empty the box and take a long, hard look at the picture on it. That is the only clue you will get for putting the blasted thing together. Give yourself a good 20 minutes to get this ‘Crypton Factor worthy’ hose reel assembled (or thereabouts). Having completed the challenge myself I would suggest you tackle the central reel first of all, the four blue pieces (they are all blue LOL) Next, attach one of the grey sides to the reel, followed by the other side. To achieve this however, you will need a third and quite possibly a fourth hand to shuffle the handle in from one side and (to complete the main assembly) the hose connector into the other side. Again, check the box to see if you are doing it right. The last thing to do is to attach the feet and carry handle. These cleverly click into place, via the holes in the aluminium tubing…. Nice!.. Good Luck with it all! It is worth persevering with it as it’s actually a nice bit of kit! All you need now is a hose and the correct connections, plus a ‘tail’ piece to connect to the reel itself. Good price fairly sturdy. If you have a flexible hose like I do it kinks too easily which means that the way the hose comes out of the reel it kinks and blocks the flow. I added a small section of a sturdier hose to get the correct angle with the addition of some cable ties. Not ideal. But I didn’t want the hassle of sending it back and I enjoyed the challenge.

Good Value for money. Centre panels of the real took a bit of force to click into place. Instructions were easy to follow. Just make sure to line up the holes in the tubes with the catches before pushing fully home, otherwise the frame will not lock together correctly. Easily took 30m of half inch hose.

Having looked at just about every hose reel ever created, and read the reviews that buyers had left, I came to the conclusion that unless you spent £50+, and even at this price there were bad reviews, then you were going to be disappointed. I spotted this one, which was a good price, and it actually had good reviews. Some of the negative comments were "It's quite light" .. That's because there's no hose on it .. and "It's very difficult to assemble" .. It's really not. Just follow the illustrations on the box (in sequence) and it's really easy, and quick. I loaded mine with 4 ply food grade hose ( this is to fill the water tank on my narrowboat) and used it. It worked. Very well, actually. The hose wound back on nicely, without having to wrestle with it (Wind your hose with the feed from the bottom .. it helps a lot) and it all packed away neatly. It's certainly sturdy enough for my needs and I'm really pleased with it. in my opinion, it's well worth the money.

An excellent hose reel suitable for a smaller garden - especially at the Amazon Haul "As New" offer price. Whilst there are some (scant) instructions, assembly is not easy:- (A). Parts are tricky to recognise. (B). Not inconsiderable effort is needed to clip some parts together. (C). Great care is needed to ensure assembly of "mirror" parts are orientated correctly. (D). Undoing mistakes is extremely difficult! That said, you get a reasonably strong and lightweight hose reel. It is perhaps a tad too light as it tends to skid across the garden rather than unravel hosepipe. I eventually wall mounted it using some brackets left over from my old Hozelock reel. I have a 25m (1/2 inch) Gardena hose which is easily accommodated. Care is needed when fitting a hose for the first time to ensure the first part of the hose doesn't get crushed where it meets the internal spindle after the internal connector.

If I could give it less I would. Poorly made, not sturdy comes in pieces which you have to build. No instructions - don't waste your money!

Comme dit dans le titre, l'enrouleur est d'excellente qualité avec un plastique robuste, je n'ai trouvé aucun jeu une fois monter et c'est un plus par contre le montage bien qu'il soit simple à comprendre il peu demander un peu d'effort pour emboîté certaines pièces . Le manche est en alu avec un revêtement anti dérapant et les pieds en alu également donc aucun souci niveau corrosion .
