This is pretty great! The bottle is designed for multiple applications. My grey is just starting and mostly at my hairline. Especially at the temples. It matches my (medium brown) hair color well enough. The small, new greys made my hairline look broken and this helps achieve a fuller look. It's FAR superior to the spray powders. Those were always messy and transferred to the scalp for an unnatural look, plus washed right out in the shower or left a smudge on the pillow. I've washed my hair at least 5 times so far and have done 2 deep conditioning treatments and the color is still holding strong. I wash my hair every 2 or 3 days, so each application will last a few weeks. I definitely recommend it for light, precision coverage!

This does absolutely nothing. I've tried it three times, leaving it on longer each time. I've gotten up to 25 minutes. I followed the directions exactly and it's like I didn't even put it on. Don't waste your money.

I used this Clairol product to color the back of my head and neck to cover gray. It so easy to use, just like painting the back of my head. I left it in for the 10 minutes as instructed. It colored well but next time, I may leave it for 15 minutes. I can’t say enough about how easy the applicator is to use. I simply pinned up the hair on top of my head and left exposed the hair I wanted to color. It makes me very happy to know that I do not need to depend on a hair dresser to color the back of my head. After I washed my hair, enough gray hairs showed through to make the color look very natural. Liked this product so well that I ordered two more just to have it available.

I use this Clairol root touch up, in between my salon visits, to cover my roots until my next visit, and a save a little money. The color is a little lighter if coloring grey hair. It doesn't last like a permanent color, but I specifically wanted a semi-permanent color so I don't bleach my hair or otherwise affect the color applied by my salon stylist. I wash my hair every other day, and use this root touch up around every 2 weeks, especially around my hairline and part. It gives me the boost of color needed.

I gave this product three stars for ease of use and color match. It DOES NOT COVER GRAY whatsoever! I tried it with damp hair (per the instructions), dry hair, and even let the color process longer than the stated instructions. The color is beautiful, but washes out after one time.

I used medium brown to touch up new growth for my medium brown hair and am very pleased with the results. I followed the package directions, left it on for 15 minutes, rinsed it out the shower, and treated the ends with color conditioner. Turned out perfectly with no mess!

I was hoping this would cover my roots while out of town and before going to my hair stylist. After leaving in for the stated time, I rinsed my hair and the color totally washed out. The instructions also indicated that the best method is to not rinse but leave on. I'm no expert but I don't think that you should leave chemicals on your head. Not worth the money.

Really convenient when you just want to touch up around your face. Clean, simple application. No mixing, no wasted product. Wish I had found this hair color sooner. Does a good job on grey hair.

Great product and easy to use. I have trouble some grey around temples and forehead. I didn’t want to have to start colouring my hair all the time. So this did the trick. I didn’t want something that was just a cosmetic or have to mix a whole bottle for a small area. I love that I comes premixed and squeezes out as a gel on a brush applicator to use. One tube will last a while. Results last a few shampoos and gently fade. No orangey colour as my hair is naturally very ash neutral brown. It worked well. I highly recommend this product and the colour. You’ll love it! I used it with Glaze to tone down the odd random stray grey and am Amazed by the results and the low maintenance.

I have used Clairol products for many many years and would recommend all of them except this one. This product does not cover gray at all. I gave it 1 stars only for ease of use and the fact that if you don't use it all you can cap it for later use. I did purchase the medium brown and it goes on black so don't be alarmed - once you wash hair the color washes away totally. Don't waste your money.

Good for between salon appointments. Doesn’t cover greys perfectly but does a decent job in a pinch. You can use one bottle for repeated applications so it’s definitely worth the cost. Matches my hair (brunette) very well. Would buy again.

This is exactly what I was looking for! I don't mind having some gray hair but the front was turning faster than the rest. I wanted something to freshen it up without having to dye all of my hair. Attached a picture from a few weeks ago (hair was messy that day!) and a picture today, after I dyed it. I will update this post if it washes out immediately when I shampoo.
