Not to my knowledge. This wire will not rust. I have used it on many floral wreaths and swags. My husband, have also used this wire on many projects. We really recommend this product to all our friends and families.

Hello. it doesn't unravel. Usages: flower binding wire is commonly applied for stem wrapping, artificial flowers, and floral bouquets, suitable for adding a rustic flair when making woodland crowns, head wreaths, wedding crowns, floral arranging and many other craft, decorating and DIY projects.

Q: What's the diameter of the whole paper covered wire? I have specific beads I want to use, but they're 1mm opening.

Because the wire is wrapped the diameter changes. It’s not the kind of wire I would use for beading.

Q: Can you use this to make a 6ft garland?

You could make a 36 foot Garland with this and have lots left! It’s a lot of wire. Not super strong but easy to work with. I really like it for most floral work.

This is 24hauge round paper covered wire

This doesn't unravel very easily. Just right for using in variety of crafts. Lovely natural colour.Twists well to combine different strands for stamens & buds.I used PVA glue at the ends to secure, left to dry overnight.Used to thread through synthetic leaves for Garlands or vine making. Glued in place as well.Very good value.
